5 Suggested Trademark Placement in Broadcasts and

Onscreen Displays

It is recommended that the Dolby Surround logo shown below be displayed in the opening
credits of a broadcast program or in the beginning scenes of DVD or game software to properly
identify that it has been produced with a Dolby Surround soundtrack. The logo may also appear
in the end credits of broadcasts or be displayed in software as a screen shot during any applicable
sequence.

The logo should be on screen for no less time than any other sound or technical credits.

The Dolby Surround logo is available in video format upon request. Please contact
trademarkagreement@dolby.com.
