1. What do I do if I get a pop-up message when launching a course?

If you are using Chrome:

If you receive the following pop-up message when launching a course, choose “Always allow
pop-ups” from the menu in the top right hand corner, then click on “Here” to launch the
course.

Click on pop-up icon on the tool bar and select “Always allow pop-ups from
https://sunlife.csod.com”

If you’ re using Internet Explorer:

If you receive the following pop-up message when launching a course, choose “always allow”
from the menu in the bottom of the screen, then click on “here” to launch the course.

2. Can I enroll to a course on my own in the portal?

No, you need to register first as the respective team s in SLOCPI and SLAMCI manage the
account of learners. You can check these links to register:

3. Can I request for an extension to complete my assigned training?

For some of the courses, you can request for an extension by contacting the following teams
via email:

4. Can I access the Sun Life Digital Learning Academy through my mobile device?

Yes, the portal is designed to be accessed even through your smartphone and tablet. You
can access it anytime and anywhere within your assigned access date.

5. I forgot my password to the Sun Life Digital Learning Academy, wh at should I do?

You can reset your password by clicking “Forgot Password?” in the log-in page of the portal.
Follow the instructions then elect your new password.

6. I do not have a Sun Life e-mail address, what will be my username?

Use the e-mail address you input upon registration to the course. Once you have become a
licensed Sun Life advisor, we will update your username into your Sun Life e -mail address.

7. What will happen to the previous trainings t hat I have completed using our old learning
management system or LMS?

Your previous completed trainings will be carried over to your transcript in the Sun Life Digital
Learning Academy. Kindly coordinate with the respective teams in SLOCPI or SLAMCI if there
are any discrepancies.

8. How do I know what courses are assigned to me that I need to complete?

Courses that are assigned, pending and overdue will appear on the left navigation of the
Learner Home page.

9. What is the difference between the Welcome page and the Learner Home page?

The Welcome page is the first page displayed once logged in to the Sun Life Digital Learning
Academy. It offers you a quick view of learning that is assigned to you, and navigation buttons
for your transcript and profile.

The Learner Home page serves as a learning hub which facilitates a seamless learning
experience for users. It allows you to browse for assigned training, and take action on training
you must complete.

10. How can I review a course that I ha ve already completed?

You can review completed courses by choosing Learning > View Your Transcript from the
site navigation menu or by clicking Transcript on the Learner Home page. From there, change
the filter from “Active” to “Completed” in the dropdown box.

11. How can I view my certificate from a course I have already completed?

Log in to the Sun Life Digital Learning Academy and click Transcript. From the dropdown box
that defaults to “Active”, select “Completed”. Click View Completion Page or View Certificate.

12. How come I cannot see my completed courses when I am on my Transcript page?

By default, active courses are displayed. To see your completed courses, choose “Completed”
from the dropdown box that currently displays “Active”.
