1.Government Ayurveda Hospital, Charminar, Hyderabad is having a total
bed strength of (100) beds. The following are the other details of the Hospital. The Hospital has a capacity of (50) Internees for UG students to complete their House surgeonship and (18) P.G Doctors for Clinical Study. The Medical staff of the Hospital are (66) The Ministerial, Para Medical and other Class IV Staff are (66) who are equally supported by certain Contract/Out-Sourcing employees. This Hospital has an average OP (250-350) per day. This Hospital has an average 70% bed occupancy.
2.Government Ayurveda College, Erragadda, Hyderabad can be said as an
Associate College of Charminar Hospital, as there is no sanctioned cadre strength to the Hospital and all the staff are deputed from the Charminar Hospital. A total no. of (100) beds are shifted from the Charminar Hospital. The staff for the Hospital Medical, Para Medical, Ministerial and Class IV are being utilised from sanctioned cadre strength of the Government Ayurveda College, Charminar. This Hospital has an average of OP of 250-350 per day and 68% bed occupency.
3.A.L Government Ayurveda Hospital, Warangal
Govt. Ayurvedic Teaching Hospital, Warangal was established in November,
1956 along with college under private management with the utmost efforts made by the Local Ayurveda enthusiasts like Sri.P.V.Narasimha Rao, Sri.T.Haiyagreeva Chary, Sri.Mudumbai Ramanuja Charya,, Sri.B.Chandramoulieshwar Rao etc., and State Govt absorbed the college and Hospital under their administration on 11-11-1968. Hospital is running with 100 beds at present Diet, Medicine and staff etc. provision for is available 58 beds only as per state Govt. orders. The present Hospital is situated at Old Grain Market premises in G+1 building constructed with state Govt. funds. And opened in January, 2010 and building expansion has been made and accommodation available for 150 beds, which is located at Heart of the city and very near by Railway and Bus stations. OP and IP has been increased enormously and providing the Health facilities to the Region people through Ayurveda system of Medicine. Deliveries, minor operations are being conducted through Ksharasutra and treatment providing through Panchakarma systems, child care cases, Eye & ENT (Shalakya), General Medicine (KC) and PSR . A part from this the Hospital is providing Teaching facilities to college students, as per CCIM norms and more than Target of IP and OP fixed by CCIM is 40% and 100 average per day consequently in this our achievement is 42% IP and 157 average per day OP for the year 2015 (i.e. January, 2015 to December, 2015). Three Medical camps two for Swine flu prevention on 05-01-2015 and 07-10- 2015 and distributed medicines for 869 patients and one camp for Arshas on the eve of “world piles day” on 04-12-2015 have been conducted During this year a total number of 464 surgeries for Bhagandhara, Arshas and other procedures have been done from Shalya department. In Panchakarma department a total number of 14, 793 Sneha, 12,255 Swedan , 823 Basti, 701 Nasya and 54 Shirodhara karmas were performed. In the Clinical Lab a total number of 15,978 investigations (tests) were done. National health programmes like i.e Pulse polio, Yoga Day other programmes have also been conducted. “Swatchbharath” programme is being implemented every Wednesday in the hospital and also planted the plants in the Haritha Haram programme.
