Regular verbs
◦ Sujeto + infinitivo acabado en -ed

◦ Sujeto + forma de la 2º columna (lista)

Negative - Structure
Da igual si el verbo es regular o irregular.
Siempre será:
◦ Sujeto + did not (didn’t) + infinitivo
I didn’t play football yesterday
I did not go to Lanzarote last month

El verbo TO BE no usa el DID para negar


◦ Sujeto + WAS/WERE not (wasn’t/weren’t)
I was not in Lanzarote last month
We weren’t in the high school this weekend
Interrogative - Structure
Da igual si el verbo es regular o irregular.
Siempre será:
◦ Did + sujeto + infinitivo
Did you play football yesterday?
Did you go to Lanzarote last month?

El verbo TO BE tampoco usa el DID para

◦ WAS/WERE + sujeto
Were you in Lanzarote last month?
Was Fran in Lanzarote last month?
Interrogative - Answer
Para las respuestas cortas, siempre
tendremos 3 elementos:
◦ Yes/No + sujeto + Did/Didn’t
Did you play football yesterday? Yes, I did
Did Harry go to Lanzarote last month? No, he didn’t

Con el verbo TO BE tampoco usa el DID para

◦ Yes/No + sujeto + WAS/WASN’T o WERE/WEREN’T
Were you in Lanzarote last month? Yes, I was
Was Fran in Lanzarote last month? No, he wasn’t
