Poetry/ Poem Recitation
Rules
1. Theme is open, participant can select any theme.
2. One Participant can recite only one poem.
3. Time Limit- 2-3 minutes
4. Each entry must have a title.
5. Decision taken by the judges will be final.
6. Poetry can be bilingual.

Judgment Criteria:-

Presentation Articulation. Appropriateness. . Performance. Accuracy.

Extempore
Rules
1. The participants have to pick a topic from a chit box.
2. The participant can take 1 minute to think, 2 -4 minutes will be the maximum time to speak.
3. The speech should contain the justification of question or topic mentioned in the chit.
4. If the participants exceed the allocated time than the marks will be deducted at the discretion
of the judges

Rules
1.A team can consist of max 4 members

2. At a time 2 teams will debate in the round.

3. Time Limit will be 10 minutes , a warning bell will be given after 8 minutes

Spell Bee Competition


Spelling Bee is a competition of spelling words in English, fast and precisely. In this
competition, participants must quickly spell English words spoken by the pronouncer. The words
will be derived from the Oxford dictionary. The participant who is able to spell the most words
correctly in the shortest time will be the winner.

1. Round 1: Preliminary Round -10 (ten) participants with the highest score will go to the semi-
final round.
2. Round 2: Semi-final Round -5 (five) participants with the highest score will go to the final
round.
3. Round 3: Final Round The winners will directly be determined from the results of this round.

Rules
1.The speller must not exceed the time (1 minute) frame given for him or her to start spelling.
2.The pronouncer will repeat each word twice to give a chance for participants to hear the given
word more than once.
3. If a participant misspells a word and intends on correcting it, the participant may do so by
simply crossing out the previous spelling and write the correct spelling.
4. Each of the participants will be scored by the number of their correct answers.
5.The committee and judges are in complete control of the competition. Their decisions are final.

SPIN THE YARN


Spin the yarn is an oral storytelling game which encourages a greater knowledge and
understanding of Indigenous culture from a contemporary Aboriginal perspective Spin a yarn
story tiles display a variety of symbols that may be used in small play experiences and to inspire
imagination for creating stories.

Story Telling

Storytelling is the social and cultural activity of sharing stories, sometimes


with improvisation, theatrics or embellishment. Every culture has its own stories or narratives, which are
shared as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation or instilling moral values.[1] Crucial
elements of stories and storytelling include plot, characters and narrative point of view. The term
"storytelling" can refer specifically to oral storytelling but also broadly to techniques used in other media
to unfold or disclose the narrative of a story
