- Letter of Acceptance (Surat Setuju Terima) by A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of BDB

TAHUN BAGI DAERAH KOTA SETAR, PADANG TERAP/ POKOK SENA, KUALA MUDA, SIK, KUBANG
PASU, KULIM/ BANDAR BAHARU, PENDANG, YAN DAN BALING”.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

The Board of Directors of BDB (“the Board”) wishes to announce that its wholly owned
subsidiary, BDB Infra Sdn Bhd (Registration Number: 197301002843 [16289-A] (“BDB
Infra” or “Contractor”) had received “Surat Setuju Terima (Bagi Tender Kerja)”
(hereinafter referred to as “the Letter”) dated 9.3.2020 from Kedah State Government
(hereinafter referred to as “the Client”) for the purpose of state road maintenance for
the period of three (3) years in districts of Kota Setar, Padang Terap/ Pokok Sena, Kuala
Muda, Sik, Kubang Pasu, Kulim/Bandar Baharu, Pendang, Yan and Baling subject to the
terms and conditions as stipulated in the Letter (“the Project”).

The Letter was duly accepted by BDB Infra on 9 March 2020 and endorsed by Board of
Directors on the same day.

2.0 INFORMATION ON BDB INFRA

BDB Infra is a wholly owned subsidiary of BDB incorporated in Malaysia under the
Companies Act, 2016 and having its registered address at Level 9, Menara BDB, 88
Lebuhraya Darulaman, 05100, Alor Setar Kedah and its business address at 127 & 128,
Taman Tunku Hosna, Jalan Tanjung Bendahara, 05300 Alor Setar, Kedah.

BDB Infra is recognised as one of the prominent class G7 contractors for road works in
the northern region.
3.0 INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT

3.1 The contract amount is RM210,000,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Two Hundred and
Ten Million) only.

3.2 The contract of the Project shall be for thirty-six (36) months from the date of
site possession on 23 March 2020.

4.0 FINANCIAL EFFECT

The Project is expected to contribute positively to the Group earnings for the financial
years ending 2020 to 2024.

5.0 STATEMENT BY DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of BDB is of the opinion that the Project is in the best interest of
the Company and the Group.

6.0 DOCUMENT AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION

The Letter is available for inspection at the Registered Office located at Level 9, Menara
BDB, 88 Lebuhraya Darulaman, 05100 Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman during normal
working hours from Sunday to Thursday except for public holidays.
