Contemporary plays were written after 1990. Use this list as a guide to find material for
auditions and juries. The National Theatre has new works and adaptations that are an
excellent resource. Also look at the Tony Award winning plays and nominees as well as
Pulitzer Prize winning plays and runners up as a source as well.
