Introduction:

Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany, is known for its rich history,
cultural diversity, and modern urban landscape. Located on the Neckar river in a fertile valley,
Stuttgart is the sixth largest city in Germany. As a group of students from Moldova, we were
eager to explore this lively city and discover its unique charm.

Flight day:
The trip started with a flight from Chisinau to Stuttgart, which took about two hours. After
landing at the airport, we took a bus to the hotel, which was located in the city center. The hotel
was comfortable and modern, with spacious rooms and free Wi-Fi. We were overwhelmed by the
flight, but excited and eager to explore the city the next days.

The first day was really amazing! We started our journey at Mercedes-Benz and Porsche
Museums. There we learned a lot about the history of these two famous car brands, immersing
ourselves in the world of luxury cars. We were impressed by the evolution of cars technology,
design, and innovation. The exhibition started with the first invented car ending with the the
latest models and prototypes.

The most beautiful square in Stuttgart, located in the heart of the city, is the Castel Square.
There we admired the architecture of Stuttgart by visiting the Old Castle, the Baroque New
Castel, the National Art Gallery, the Opera House and the Stuttgart Art Museum. The square has
also a relaxing green garden with two fountains, where our class had a small, yet enjoyable
picnic.
The National Art Gallery, the Staatsgalerie, houses one of the most important art collections in
Germany, while the Stuttgart Art Museum displays, in a sensational building shaped like a glass
cube, a valuable art collection including the largest survey exhibition in the world devoted to the
German painter and engraver Otto Dix.

The TV Tower is considered an aesthetic and architectural masterpiece. We enjoyed the

magnificent view of the city, while having lunch. It was really exciting!

On our last day we visited Wilhelma- the largest zoological and botanical garden. It was a
fantastic experience for us! We admired it’s beautiful gardens, hothouses and aquariumThere we
increased our knowledge about animals and plants from different regions of the world.

Conclusion:
Our school trip to Stuttgart was a wonderful journey filled with unforgettable experiences. The
cultural exchange, educational insights, and friendship formed during this journey will be
cherished forever. Our return to Moldova brought back not only memories, but also a wider
understanding of the world and a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures.
