Unholy Strike. Once on each of the acolyte’s turns when it hits a creature with a weapon

target.
Spellcasting. The acolyte of Orcus is a 3rd-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom
(spell save DC 12, +4 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following cleric spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): guidance, resistance, thaumaturgy
1st level (4 slots): bane, cure wounds, protection from evil and good
2nd level (2 slots): blindness/deafness, enhance ability

Actions

Warhammer. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1)
bludgeoning damage.
Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d8)
piercing damage.
Caress of Orcus (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit,
reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) necrotic damage, and the target’s Strength score is
reduced by 1d3. The target dies if this reduces its Strength to 0. Otherwise, the reduction
lasts until the target finishes a short or long rest. If a non-evil humanoid dies from this attack,
a shadow rises from the corpse in 24 hours under the acolyte’s control, unless the humanoid
is restored to life or its body is destroyed. The acolyte can have no more than two shadows
under its control at one time.
