What are the Three Basic Social Institutions?
❑They are: Family, State and Church.
❑The Fourth Commandment requires honoring them
because they were established by God for the
good of the individual and of society.

What is the Family in God’s plan?

In God’s plan, the family is defined with five


characteristics:
1) a permanent,
2) communion of love,

3) between a man and a woman,
4) intended for the good of the spouses,
5) and for the procreation and education of children.

or divorce, because Jesus commanded: “What God
