RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR THE LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY (LnB) –
BOMBON MUNICIPAL CHAPTER ELECTIONS ON DECEMBER 15, 2023, APPOINTING THE
TEMPORARY PRESIDING OFFICER, TEMPORARY SECRETARY AND TEMPORARY TREASURER
FOR THE ELECTION MEETING, APPROVING THE CALENDAR OF EVENTS ANENT THEREWITH
AND AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTION OF THE AMOUNT OF ____ THOUSAND PESOS
(₱_________.00) AS REGISTRATION FEE THEREOF

WHEREAS, presented before the General Assembly of the Liga ng mga Barangay -
Bombon Municipal Chapter (LnB-BMC) is a proposal to conduct LnB Municipal Chapter elections
for the position of Municipal Chapter President, Municipal Chapter Vice President, Municipal
Chapter Auditor, and Five (5) members of the Municipal Chapter Board of Directors (BOD) of
the LnB-BMC;
WHEREAS, Subparagraph 2.1.1 (Schedule and Venue of Liga Chapter Elections) of
Paragraph 2.1 of Section 2.0 (Policy Content/Guidelines) of the Department of Interior and
Local Government (DILG) Memorandum Circular No. (MC) 2023-184 issued dated November 22,
2023, the subject of which is “Guidance on the Conduct of the Liga ng mga Barangay Elections,”
set the date of the Municipal Liga Chapter Elections “not later than December 15, 2023, and the
venue is “within the City/Municipality” concerned;
WHEREAS, Subsection A (Component, Municipal, Highly Urbanized and Independent
City Lnb Chapters) of Section V (CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES) (Annex H) of Liga ng mga Barangay
sa Pilipinas MC 2023-001 entitled: “Guidelines in the Conduct of the Liga ng mga Barangay (Lnb)
Chapter Elections at the Municipal / CC / HUC / ICC and Provincial Levels” fixed the date of
“Synchronized Municipal / Component Cities / HUC / ICC LnB Chapter Elections” on “December
15, 2023, (Friday)”;
WHEREAS, it has been agreed upon by the General Assembly of the Liga ng mga
Barangay Bombon Municipal Chapter (LnB-BMC) that the LnB-BMC elections be held on
December 15 (Friday), 2023; and that the same be held at ____ o’clock in the _____________
at the _______________________________________________, Camarines Sur;
WHEREAS, it has been agreed also, that Honorable _______________________, Punong
Barangay of ________________, ________, Camarines, shall act as the Temporary Presiding
Officer; Honorable _______________________, Punong Barangay of ________________,
_________, Camarines Sur, likewise act as the Temporary Secretary, Honorable
_______________________, Punong Barangay of ________________, _________, Camarines,
shall also act as the Temporary Treasurer, all of them are bona fide and of good moral character
members of the Liga ng mga Barangay Bombon Municipal Chapter (LnB-BMC), provided that,
however, in case of absence of any of them, the General Assembly shall elect from among the
present delegate/participant the Temporary Presiding Officer, Temporary Secretary and/or
Temporary Treasurer, as the case maybe, on the date of the Election Meeting on December 15,
2023, as the respective replacement;
WHEREAS, it has likewise been agreed upon by the same General Assembly of the LnB-
BMC that the amount of ____________ Thousand Pesos (₱_______.00) shall be collected to
every delegate/participant of the said LnB-BMC elections to defray expenses for the honoraria,
venue and equipment and rentals, meals and snacks, supplies and materials and photocopying
expenses, fuels and lubrications for service vehicle, and other incidental expenses.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Honorable _____________________________,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the General Assembly of the Liga ng mga
Barangay - Bombon Municipal Chapter duly assembled, to set, as it hereby sets, the time and
place for the Liga Ng Mga Barangay (LnB) - Bombon Municipal Chapter Elections on December
15, 2023, at ____ o’clock in the ____________ at the _________________________;
RESOLVED FURTHER, to approve, as it hereby approves, the collection in the amount of
___________ Thousand Pesos (₱_____.00) as Registration Fee of every delegate/participant of
the said LnB-BMC election meeting to defray expenses to be incurred in the said election
meeting;
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, to appoint, as it hereby appoints, Honorable
_______________________, Punong Barangay of ________________, ________, Camarines, as
the Temporary Presiding Officer; Honorable _______________________, Punong Barangay of
________________, _________, Camarines, as the Temporary Secretary, Honorable
_______________________, Punong Barangay of ________________, __________, Camarines,
as the Temporary Treasurer, all of them are bona fide and of good moral character members of
the Liga ng mga Barangay Bombon Municipal Chapter (LnB-BMC), provided that, however, in

RESOLVED FURTHER, to inform, as it hereby informs, all candidates for the Liga ng mga
Barangay - Bombon Municipal Chapter Elections that the requirements to run for office per LnB
MC No. 2023-001 issued dated November 15, 2023, are the following:
1. Full payment of Liga Membership Dues for 2023;
2. Promissory Note to pay the 2024 Liga Membership Dues and the Annual Subscription in
the amount of One Thousand Pesos (₱1,000.00) per barangay per year for CY 2023 and
CY 2024 to the Liga National Official Publication on January 25, 2024;
3. Payment of registration fees. The fees shall cover the election expenses, e.g. the
honoraria for the BES Chairman and Members (Liga Election Code, as amended);
4. Certified True Copy of COMELEC Certificate of Canvass and Proclamation of the winning
candidate as Punong Barangay, and others as defined in the Liga Election Code, as
amended; and
5. Other necessary certification and/or documents as provided for by the Liga ng mga
Barangay sa Pilipinas (LnB) Constitution and By-Laws (as amended) the LnB Election
Code (as amended).
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished every member of the
General Assembly of the Liga ng mga Barangay _________ Municipal Chapter; the Department
of Interior and Local Government thru ________________, LGOO __, DILG _________________
Municipal Office, and the Provincial Director, Mr. Julius Rodel L. Cal-Ortiz, DILG Camarines Sur
Provincial Office; the Commission on Election Camarines Sur Provincial Office; the chairperson
and members of the Board of Election Supervisor for the Liga ng mga Barangay ________
Municipal Chapter; and all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
