Creative Midterm Reflection

For this Creative Midterm Project me and my group did a card game. The game was called

decisions. The game gives people scenarios that they have to answer on their own actions

how they react to real life situations.

During our time making this project it was tough for us in the beginning of our project. It

was hard deciding on what we wanted to do. Also it was hard making the project because we

did know what we wanted to do. At first we wanted to make a board game. The board game

was going to be just like board game life in some ways. But when we discussed the board

game it just didn't fit the plans we were trying to do for this Creative Midterm Project. So

during the time you gave us to work as a group we sat in the library for an hour and a half.

Then we decided to make a card game. We all agreed on making the card game.

We felt as a group that was the easiest way that everybody could participate and easier for

people to play and understand our card game. So we decided as a group that everyone has a

question. The question has to be a real life scenario that just happened or happened back in

the day. So we all had different types of questions that made the card game fun for people.

We also wanted people to truly think about the questions we wrote down for this card game.

The group really enjoyed the questions that we chose. It was fun making the questions. I truly

enjoyed making this project with my group. As a group we instantly click on all cylinders

making this project. Once we all agreed on what we were doing . It became easy for us to get

it rolling to make a good project for ourselves and the class. We wanted the class to enjoy the

card game. We didn’t want it to be boring at all. We also didn’t want the game to be too long

for our time limit during our presentation. But we also wanted the class to engage with the
game as well. The goal for our group is to make sure the class is engaged and having fun

listening to us present our card game and also play the card game. The card game was meant

for a lot of people to play the game. When we presented the card game to the class I felt like

everybody was engaged in the card game. It seems like everybody enjoyed the card game

during our presentation which is what we hoped as a group.

I really enjoyed this project. I really didn't have any problems with it at all. I liked the idea of

making this project. It was very entertaining watching other groups projects and I truly

enjoyed working with my group and doing this project. I had a lot of fun making our card

game.
