I. Objectives:
a. Identify the different parts of the Nervous System;
b. give the importance of the parts by giving examples of nervous system;
c. The Teacher will be able explain the parts of the brain: cerebrum, cerebellum, brain stem.

II. Subject Matter

a. Topic: Nervous system
b. Materials: Pictures and PowerPoint
c. Teaching Science in Elementary Grades(Nervous System)

III. Methodology
A. Preliminary Activities
1. prayer
2. Greetings
3. Checking attendance
4. Motivation

Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity

“Good Afternoon Class….” “Good Morning Sir Pogi..”

“Lets us Pray First…” (One Student will lead the Prayer)

(Checking of Attendance) (Student raise their hand and say present as

B. Presentation/ Lesson Proper

The teacher will show a chart of a
Human Body with label and
function of each part.
(The teacher will teach the
different parts of the body and
their function.)

We will ask of thestudent some Question

regarding about topic.

What is the Nervous System According to ( One of the student he answer. )

Very good! world around you .

Your Nervous System is your body’s

command center. Originating from
your brain, it controls your movements,
thoughts and automatic responses to
the world around you . It also controls
other body systems and processes, such
as digestion, breathing and sexual
development. (puberty)

TWO MAIN DIVISION OF NERVOUS

SYSTEM:

1. The central nervous system is made up of

the brain and spinal cord.
2. The peripheral nervous system is made up
of nerves that branch off from the spinal cord
and extend to all parts of the body.

So I will give you some activity.

• Instruction. Put the missing labels in

the given parts of the nervous system.

Are you done?

So we will check activity.

So we will back to our lesson.

THE BRAIN HAS THREE MAIN
PARTS..

• The cerebrum – fills up most of your

skill. It is involved in remembering ,
problem solving, thinking, and feeling.
• The cerebellum – sits at the back of
your head, under the cerebrum. It Ok po sir
controls coordination and balance.
• The brain stem – sits beneath your (the student they will read the THE BRAIN
cerebrum in front of your cerebellum. HAS THREE MAIN PARTS.)

Group Activity (20 Points)

• Draw a brain and label the cerebrum,
cerebellum , and brain stem and give its
function.

of your cerebellum.

Question.
1. How important nervous system to our
daily routine?
2. What will happen to human if we don’t
have nervous system?

• The nervous system plays a role in

nearly every aspect of our health and
wellbeing. It guides everyday activities
such as walking. Up; automatic
activities such as breathing; and
complex processes such as thingking,
reading , remembering , and feeling
emotions.

• ESSAY (20 POINTS)

• Make an essay in your understanding

about how the organs in the nervous
system work together.

Assignment.
Good bye teacher lab you..
