Reasons of migration/working abroad

Reflection: The most common reason of every Filipino on why they are migrating to another country is
to have a better income that could support their family's needs. It is a sacrificial act of love.

Problems Encountered

sobrang yaman.hnd tamang oras ng pagkain at kakulangan s tulog. bawal ang cellphone pra mkpag
communicate k s family mo kaya lht kmi patago gumamit ng cp or nkkausap lng nmin ang family nmin
kpg oras n ng pahinga nmin.strict cla pagdting s pkkupag communicate s family.kaya cgro 3 months lng

Reflection: As I've read these statements from my aunt for the first time, I felt deeply sad. I am
disappointed that our co-Filipinos could fool us for the sake of money. My aunt has been part of illegal
migration and these lead her to experience terrible things in exchange of sufficient financial support for
her family. Additionally, she experienced a huge problem in language barrier, affecting her freedom of
expression and social life.

Experiences

cgro masarap n naging experience ko abroad is kht ppnu nkkpagpadala ako s mga anak ko hnd man
sapat pero alm ko malaking tulong n rin s knla.at nkarating ako s kuwait dhl maganda nman tlga s
bansang kuwait hnd nga lng cgro lht swerte s pagpunta dun.at first hirap ako to communicate s knla dhl
hnd ako marunong ng salitang arabic at hnd rin sila marunong mag english..pero mababait sila yun nga
lang tlgang susulitin nla s pagttrabho every single amount n ibinabayad nla.

Reflection: As my aunt mentioned, not every OFW have their first charm abroad. My aunt might have
experienced discrimination and exploitation as a Filipino in Kuwait. She doesn't deserve that especially
that she is away from her loved ones. Hence, it's just really a better decision for her to go home
immediately.
