RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Health check of the TSM SERVER.

 Registering nodes to the Domain and associating schedules.


 Configuring TSM operations like expiration, migration, reclamation, collocation etc.

 Checking Client/Admin schedules status and working on missed/failed scheduled backups.

 Checking activity log for any Hardware or Application related errors.

 Installing and configuring B/A clients, TDP SQL as per the client requirements

 Exposure on restoration of TSM DB, Upgrade DB, installing fix levels based on the company require-
ments.

 Import and Export Server/Client information from one TSM SERVER to Other or in remote systems.

 Working on administrative schedules for administrative operations in TSM Server for Copy
backup storage pools, Migration Reclamation, Expire inventory and TSM DB backup, any
failures working on it based on the priority
 Updating drives and drive paths online
 Knowledge on TDP SQL and DOMINO.
 Knowledge on DRM.
