ANNEXURE 2 - PRODUCED WATER QUALITY CONSIDERED FOR

DESIGN PURPOSE

1. PRODUCED WATER QUALITY

The produced water composition has been extracted from the document Section C6, Appendix A
(Rima Produced Water Analysis) provided on 06th April 2017 during 2nd clarification reply.
The following parameters define the sole known compounds present in the water stream to be
treated.

1. The COD and BOD values mentioned above are assumed to be Total COD and BOD
values inclusive of COD, BOD contributed by suspended solids, colloidal matter and Oil
and grease
2. All compounds not mentioned in the above table have been considered nil.

3. Minimum temperature of produced water as 5 Deg C does not seems to be credible for
produced water as per our experience and feedback from plants we are currently
operating. We believe 5° C is more related to atmospheric ambient temperature. For the
Plant design basis, we have considered 16 Deg C as minimum temperature of produced
water during winter season. We also presume that the Wax appearance temperature is
less than 16 Deg C, therefore, no waxing issue can't be observed with this raw water. (
4. 45 °C raw water temperature is considered to be observed only during summer period,
occurring on short period on daily basis. It is therefore considered in our design that such
peak temperature will occur not more than 6-8 hours in day, and only during summer
period. For rest of the time it is considered that the maximum temperature is not more
than 42 Deg C

Notes:
1. The treated water quality and quantity is guaranteed based on the produced water
quality mentioned in Annexure 2 above. Any change in the same will have impact on the
treated water quality.
2. The BOD, COD values are guaranteed based on the assumption that the BOD, COD in
the produced water is due to Oil and TSS only
