STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The research aims to assess the impact of the factors in school on the academic performance
and General Weighted Average (GWA) of the Grade 9 Diligence Students in Arandia College Inc.,
S.Y. 2022-2023.

The problems to be addressed are:

I. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:

II. What is the General Weighted Average of the Grade 9 Diligence students
III. Does time management have a direct effect on their General Weighted Average (GWA)
a. Class schedule
b. Hours spent studying
IV. Does the teacher’s effectiveness have a direct effect on their General Weighted Average
(GWA)
a. Presentation c. Communication
b. Knowledge d. Emotional Stability
V. Does the students’ classmate and peers contribute to the positive effect on their academic
performance

VI. Does the school environment directly affect their academic performance

HYPOTHESIS

There is a significant difference in the assessment of academic performance of the Grade 9
