Reflection:

This year, I did better in school than I thought I would. Especially in English, I improved a lot.
Last year, I had average grades in English, around a C. But this year, I kept my grades up to a
B.

In Year 12, I really want to get A grades in all my tests and assignments. To do this, I have
some plans. First, I'm going to write essays on different topics. This will help me get better at
writing and thinking. I want to be good at writing different kinds of essays like arguing,
persuading, describing, and analysing.

I also want to read more books and articles about different things. Reading a lot can help me
learn more words, understand things better, and become better at writing.

I'll practice old test papers too. This will help me get used to the way tests are and the kinds
of questions I'll get. I'll also learn from my mistakes.

I want to learn about how writers use special techniques in their writing, like comparing
things, using symbols, or making things sound different from how they really are. I'll try to
use these techniques in my writing to make it more interesting.

For some kinds of essays where you have to talk about different sides of a topic, I'll make
sure my arguments are clear and fair. I'll use good evidence to support what I say.

In short answers, I'll keep my answers clear and not too long. I'll make sure I say what I mean
and give examples if needed.

I'll ask my teachers, classmates, and people online to tell me what I can do better. Their
advice can help me get better.

I'll also make sure I use my time well. I'll have a plan for when to study different things so I'm
not rushing at the last minute. I'll keep working on my writing and reading skills all year long.

Improvement takes time, and I know there might be times when things don't go perfectly.
But I won't give up, and I'll keep trying to get better.

In the end, I'm excited about Year 12 and believe that if I work hard, practice, and stay
focused, I can get those A grades in English that I want.
