Working Title NAVIGATING LANGUAGE TEACHING IN DIGITAL AGE: AN

Research "In the rapidly evolving landscape of digital technology and its integration

This research problem outlines the key issues that the study aims to
address:
1. The need to explore the integration of digital technology in
language teaching.
2. The evaluation of effectiveness, challenges, and potential benefits
associated with innovative approaches and tools.
3. The investigation of how educators adapt and navigate the digital
landscape in language instruction.
4. The identification of best practices for optimizing learning
outcomes in the digital age.

Research Goal This proposed paper aims to investigate and analyze the various ways
in which digital technologies are being used in the field of language
teaching. This research aims to explore novel methods, approaches, and
tools that educators and language learners employ to enhance the teaching
and learning of languages in the context of the digital age.

Specifically, this will explore on the following questions:

1. What criteria should language instructors or teachers employ when


selecting from an abundance of available digital tools, platforms,
and resources?

2. What method and metrics can be employed to assess the efficacy


of innovative digital language teaching approaches, both in terms
of fostering language proficiency and enhancing learner
motivation and engagement?

3. How can educators be adequately prepared and supported in their


use of digital tools, including addressing the need for ongoing
professional development and staying current with emerging
technologies in the ever-evolving digital landscape?
Thesis Statement The researcher aims to examine the evolving landscape of language
teaching in the digital age, delving into a comprehensive exploration of
innovative methodologies and technological tools that facilitate effective
language acquisition, thereby providing valuable insights for educators,
policymakers, and stakeholders in optimizing language instruction for the
contemporary learner."
