My visit to Babson College was a revelation and a reminiscent experience. I beheld a vibrant campus with a
deeply embedded culture of innovation, inclusivity, and hands-on learning. I remember visiting the college on
three occasions when I was younger. I particularly remember the students sitting in the green grass, relaxed,
and chatting animatedly with each other. The students appeared energetic, and their demeanor suggested they
were enjoying the experience of college life. The colorful vegetation during the springtime, comprising leaves
in different stages of decay and renewal, stuck with me during my second visit. Intermingled with the different
shades of spring red were lively green leaves. I thought the university environment signified going through the
different stages of personal and professional life. Revisiting Babson College gave me a similar familiar feeling
of belonging a few years later during my third trip. Hence, I feel a sense of connectedness to the college. Two
of my cousins studied there as well. The institutional environment also appealed to me, considering its hands-
on approach to education.

The "Shark Tank" simulator, where students put their entrepreneurial ideas to the test, epitomizes this
philosophy. It is not just about theory; it is about real-world application. This hands-on experience aligns
perfectly with my own inclination for learning through action. My adaptability is a quality I believe will
flourish at Babson. In an environment that values versatility and encourages students to explore diverse career
paths, I see myself thriving. Being adaptable means more than just embracing change; it means leveraging it as
an opportunity for growth and innovation. Decisiveness is another trait that I believe is in harmony with
Babson's values. In a fast-paced business and entrepreneurial environment, the ability to make informed
decisions swiftly is crucial. Babson's programs are designed to hone this skill, and I am excited about the
prospect of developing my decision-making abilities further in such an environment. Innovation is at the core
of Babson's mission, a quality I hold dear. I am driven by the desire to create new solutions and push the
boundaries of what is possible.

Babson's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is not just a slogan; it is a lived reality on campus. The
colorful array of flags, representing a multitude of cultures, sends a powerful message about the importance of
diversity. My own experiences in diverse environments have taught me the value of different perspectives and
the strength that comes from inclusive collaboration. I am excited about contributing to and learning from this
diverse community.

My visit to Babson College left an indelible impression, underscoring its dedication to preparing adaptable,
decisive, and innovative individuals. The hands-on learning opportunities, along with the alignment of my own
qualities with Babson's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, make it the ideal place for me to pursue my
education and personal growth. Babson College is where innovation flourishes, inclusivity is celebrated, and
adaptability is nurtured—a place where I am eager to embark on a transformative journey of learning and
contribution.

I have interacted with diverse cultures in the past and recognized the unique contributions that different
peoples can make. Interacting with people with differing perspectives, backgrounds, beliefs and practices has
added color into my life, making it richer and more vibrant. In my daily life, I often tinkered with tangrams as
a second-hand task while I watched various East Asian dramas, and as a result, my friends call me a dabbler,
someone who dipped their feet into a variety of things. If I were to compile the list of shows I have watched,
there would be at least nine different languages. I dabbled in various foods as well, cooking up Vietnamese
Goi Cuon when it was hot outside or reverting to my own traditional Sambar recipe when it was cold. I
dabbled in different music; sometimes I would be in the mood for my mother tongue, Telugu, and other times I
would listen to the comforting Korean lyrics of BTS and NCT 127. This dabbling encouraged me to join the
Asian culture club in school, selling boba to children who had never tried it during our school’s festival.
Surprisingly enough, this dabbling aided me in planning events for my local Indian association, TeNA, which
kept the Indian community of New England together. Fundraising events, Indian holidays, and member
gatherings became easier to lead after learning how to engage a variety of people. Therefore, I believe I could
contribute my cross-cultural experiences with other students at Babson College, learning from them in return.
Although I have had the privilege of interacting with diverse cultures and languages, I belief it is a life-long
journey that I wish to continue at Babson College.
