work. Remember that e-commerce, restaurants, and general systems like order processing are
not allowed to be taken.

System Title and Description

Smart Curtains- these are automated curtains which open and close based on user commands.

User can also set timer when they want these curtains to open and close automatically.

For example- user can set a timer such that curtain opens at 6 am and closes automatically as
soon as is 1 pm so that the house remains protected from scorching heat of sun during
afternoons.

These curtains can be controlled using an app on you phone and they also have additional
features.

Additional features are –

You have semi close option in which curtains do not close fully and allows a bit of light to enter
in the room.

The curtain rods also have led light strip attached to them which turn on/off based on user
command.
Systems purpose
The purpose of this system is to facilitate user to be able to open and close their curtains
automatically using an app.

It also allows user to set times in a timer when the curtains can close and open automatically.

There is a led strip also attached to the curtain rod which turns on/off based on user
commands.

System stakeholder
Manufacturer- the company which manufactures this automated curtain

Employees- the people involved in the manufacturing process. This starts form factory workers
to the project manager, CEO , CTO etc.

Suppliers- the suppliers are the one which deliver the product to the users.

Country laws and policies- laws regulate what can/cannot be done. The company must comply
to the laws.

Digital laws- as user will use an app we must comply to his/her digital right regarding privacy,
data collection etc…

Users- the people who would purchase this curtain.

Main function of this System

The main functions of this system are as follows-

1) Open/close the curtains on a single touch.

2) Set timer when the curtains must open/close.
3) Switch on/off the attached led lights.
4) semi close option in which curtains do not close fully and allows a bit of light to
enter in the room.
