MICROSOFT CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

22
EXISTING ‘COE’ IN COLLAGES

In Delhi, among the existing colleges, 58% lack a Center of Excellence (COE), while the remaining
42% have successfully implemented a COE line MICROSOFT, Microsoft, Apple IOS etc.
We exclusively target the 58% of colleges in Delhi that do not currently possess a Centre of
Excellence.

Co-curricular activities, also known as out-of-class activities, are any events that you participate in
outside of your regular academic coursework. They can be anything from sports and clubs to
volunteering and part-time work.
'The university experience is often more than just acquiring academic knowledge and obtaining a
degree certificate,' says Billy Wong, professor of education at the University of Reading.
'While participating in new extra-curricular activities can be daunting, it is useful to remember that
the primary role of a student is to learn.'
Whether you're passionate about sports, music, volunteering, or simply want to try something new,
there is an extra-curricular activity out there for you.

23
SALES AND PROMOTION

Sales and promotion are two essential aspects of business that work together to drive revenue and
growth. Sales refer to the process of selling products or services to customers, while promotion refers
to the activities that are undertaken to generate interest in and demand for those products or services.

Sales

The sales process typically involves several steps, including:

 Prospecting: Identifying potential customers who are likely to be interested in the

product or service.

 Qualifying: Determining whether the potential customer has the need, budget, and
authority to buy the product or service.

 Approaching: Contacting the potential customer and introducing the product or

service.

 Presenting: Explaining the benefits of the product or service to the potential customer.

 Handling objections: Addressing any concerns or objections that the potential

customer may have.

 Closing: Asking for the sale and obtaining the customer's agreement to buy the
product or service.

Promotion

There are many different types of promotional activities that businesses can use to
generate interest in their products or services. Some of the most common types of
promotions include:

 Advertising: Using paid media to communicate the product or service to a wide audience.

 Public relations: Building relationships with the media to generate positive publicity
for the product or service.

 Sales promotions: Offering discounts, coupons, or other incentives to encourage

customers to buy the product or service.

 Social media marketing: Using social media platforms to connect with potential
customers and promote the product or service.

 Content marketing: Creating valuable and informative content that attracts

potential customers to the brand.

24
The Relationship Between Sales and Promotion

Sales and promotion are closely linked, and they both play a vital role in the success of a
business. A strong promotional campaign can generate interest in a product or service, but it is
up to the sales team to convert that interest into sales. Conversely, a skilled sales team can close
deals, but they will be more successful if the product or service is well-promoted and has a
strong brand reputation.

When sales and promotion are working together effectively, they can create a powerful synergy that
drives revenue and growth. However, when they are not working together effectively, it can lead to
wasted resources and missed opportunities.

Tips for Effective Sales and Promotion

Here are a few tips for effective sales and promotion:

 Align your sales and promotion teams. Make sure that your sales and promotion teams are
working together to achieve common goals.
 Develop a clear and concise message. Make sure that your promotional materials are clear
and easy to understand, and that they communicate the same message as your sales team.
 Track your results. Regularly track the results of your sales and promotion efforts so that
you can make adjustments as needed.

By following these tips, you can ensure that your sales and promotion efforts are working together
effectively to drive revenue and growth for your business.

CONCLUSIONS

The summer internship project plays an important role in management education where
students get a golden opportunity to apply his knowledge and learning gained from classroom
lectures in practical business environment. I have also learnt a lot by my Internship at SKLZ
TECT LLP. This research has been done to study consumer perspective towards various COE
sectors in “SKLZ TECT LLP”. People having knowledge about CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
IN COLLAGES AND UNIVERSITES
in other options also. But maximum people still prefer in COE Labs like; Microsoft IBM, Apple
IOS options. There is high knowledge about MICROSOFT COE but people were not aware
about the COE and there are some people who are aware about it but they are not aware about
the many benefits that comes with the product.
People were usually impressed with the features of the product but due to pandemic they
were facing financial problems so after being interested in the product they weren't able
to purchase.
