(LK 17:5-10 )

“FAITH “

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size
of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, Be uprooted and planted in the sea,
and it would obey you.

The Gospel reminds us how we promote our faith. The Apostles asked to increase their faith,
and Jesus simply answered that their faith should be like a mustard seed which is considered
the smallest of the seeds when planted, when it grows up it becomes the tallest and largest of
the trees and shrubs for the birds that live in it. So our faith in God is our propagation of his
Kingdom that starts with small things, but continues to grow if we continue to stand for
goodness, peace, justice, and love, and this faith is also seen in how we serve others.
