Selection Criteria for Nominees for Training of Trainers (ToT) on SIYB
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Interested and nominated individuals need to qualify the following criteria to participate in the ILO certified SIYB Training Course:
1. Commitment: Interested individuals/trainers should have commitment
to deliver the training knowledge and skills at ToE level after the ToT.
2. Expertise and Knowledge: Potential Trainers should have a deep
understanding of the subject matter they will be teaching. They should robust and strong rootedness to and be able to demonstrate certain level of expertise in the field of entrepreneurship and business, with a strong knowledge of the concepts, strategies, and best practices involved. This includes among others completion of bachelor’s degree with significant elements of financial management and business development.
3. Experience: Practical experience in starting and running businesses is
essential. Potential candidates should have hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, which can provide valuable insights and credibility when working with aspiring entrepreneurs.
4. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are crucial for
trainers. Interested candidates should be able to convey information clearly, engage their audience, and facilitate discussions and learning activities.
5. Teaching and Training Experience: Prior experience in teaching or
training is often a prerequisite. Potential Trainers should be able to demonstrate ability to deliver effective training sessions, create learning materials, and adapt their teaching style to the needs of their audience.
