Programme Overview
¢ For professionals working in a health or life sciences
field including clinicians, allied health professionals,
and scientists with a particular interest in clinical allergy
¢ Suitable for people working with children and adults
¢ Entry: MBBS, BDS, BSc or an appropriate
professional qualification
¢ Part-time over 14 weeks
¢ April 2018 tuition fee: £870

¢ Combine with two self-selected modules for a PG Certificate
in Clinical and Health Sciences with Allergy
Built around topic weeks which include:
¢ Basic immunology for clinical allergy practice
¢ Clinical evaluation of the patient, including diagnostic
options and management approaches
¢ Anaphylaxis
¢ Asthma
¢ Allergic skin disease, including eczema, urticaria and angioedema
¢ Drug allergy
¢ Food allergy (both lgE mediated disease and non-IgE mediated disease)
