Symptom

As described in SAP ONE Support Launchpad – Notification of Legal Changes > Amend progressive
individual income tax rates.

This SAP Note provides you with the relevant system changes to address the ammendment to progressive
individual income tax rates in Egypt.

Reason and Prerequisites

This SAP Note is relevant only for Egypt.

Solution

1. Import the Support Package specified for your release or

2. Implement the attached (manual) correction instruction and perform the manual activities present int he
attached document.

Note: A new amount column has been added to the tax slab definition table. If this column is not
visible/saving data after the application of the attached correction instructions, then kindly re-generate the
view V_T7EGT03.

Manual Steps while regenerating the view:

1. Add the newly introduced column 'ABAMT' (Applicable Below - Annual Earnings) to the view
V_T7EGT03. This column is available in the table T7EGT03 when you import this note.
2. Goto SE80, select the function group 'HREG_V_T7EGT03' and delete the view '0100' under screens.
3. Navigate to SE11 select view V_T7EGT03. Under Menu, select 'Table Maintenance Generator' and re-
create the view/screen '0100'.
