AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

This Agreement is made on Oct, 2020 by and between

ENGINEERING, CONSTURACTION AND BUILDING TECHNOLOGY / ZELALEM DESIGN AND INVESTMENT GROUP

Hereinafter called ‘Client’ for supervision, project and resource management
service for B+G+1+R .In ADDIS ABEBA, BOLE SUB CITY CMC SEFER NEAR TO WEREDA 09 BUILDING

ARTICLE I- Appointment:

The client here by appoints the consultant for the work and the consultant accepts the appointment
on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth and standard conditions of contract for consultancy
services as issued by Ministry of Construction.

ARTICLE II- The Designer’s Service:

The Supervision and consultation service is as described below but it is extended to respond for every
technical requirements of the construction regulatory authority for the purpose of construction work
system and law. However the follow up at the professionals from municipality shall be handled by the
CLEINT and CONSULTANT.

Scope of service:
Our service is for the whole package supervision of Architectural, Structural, Electrical and,
Sanitary designs, check of specification and bill of quantities with Engineering cost estimate
based on the prevailing cost of materials, labor and equipment.

The service shall extend to respond for every technical requirements of the construction regulatory
authority and it consists of the following details:

Phase: supervision step:

The supervision phase it supervise major step of the work and check the work and construction
system. That include:

1. Architectural supervision.

2. Structural supervision.

3. Electrical supervision.

4. Sanitary supervision (minor work).

5. Check Preparation of specification and bill of Quantities for all architectural, structural,
Electrical and sanitary works.

6. Finishing Material, Resource and system management

ARTICLE III- Time for completion:

The service shall be completed within PHASE ONE STURACTURAL SYSTEM, PHASE TWO: FINISHING AND
SYSYTEM WORK .FIVE MONTH commencing from the date of advance payment.
The Daily and weekly time required for evaluation and supervision by the Designer and the structural
and installation system engineer for 2 times per week and in case of sensitive time we support
additional time for project based on communication of the contractor and Clint additional site
engineer it works full time day .

ARTICLE IV- Obligation of Client:

A. The client shall furnish all necessary data (plan, budget etc.)
B. TOTAL price for PHASE ONE AND PHASE TWO 115, 000 birr for architect and engineer.

THE ABOVE PRICE INLUDING VAT AND TAX SYSTEM.

Professional price list

1. Architect and designer.(office).
2. Structure and material engineer. (Office).
3. Site Engineer. (Site).

ARTICLE VI- Terms of Payment:

1. The payment based on construction system.

1-Advance Payment 30 %.
2-Second Payment 30 %.
3- Third Payment 20 %.
4- Fourth Payment 20 %.

ARTICLE VII- Concerning Supervision and quality

The above condition of agreement only applies to the professional service of supervision and quality
control including system and material management.

This agreement has been signed in their respective names as of the day and year first above written.
