1. INTRODUCTION

In an organization or company, the systems analyst and design is the

process of studying its situation in order to observe how it works and say
if it is necessary to make an improvement; The person in charge of
carrying out these tasks is the systems analyst for . Before starting the
development of any project, a system study is known to detect all the
details of the current situation in the company. The information gathered
from this study serves as the basis for creating various design strategies.
Managers decide which strategy to follow. Managers, employees, and
other end users who are becoming increasingly familiar with using
computers are playing an important role in systems development.

All organizations are systems that interact with their environment by

receiving inputs and producing outputs. Systems, which may be made up
of other smaller systems called subsystems, function to achieve specific
goals. However, purposes or goals are achieved only when control is
maintained.
II. DEVELOPMENT
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS (SISTEMAS DE INFORMACIÓN
GERENCIAL)

It takes a lot of effort, experience, time and money to create a management

information system that produces integrated and complete information.

However, even when the organization has not made the commitment to
develop this task, it can perform an important function to improve the system
and meet its needs.

It may not be possible to change record forms or files, but marginal changes can
be made, such as improving data accuracy and timeliness of reporting dates.

Currently, Senior Management is destined to expand planning horizons and

make decisions under increasingly greater degrees of uncertainty, due to the
increase in competition in the business environment (increase in the number of
competitors), and the decrease in the availability of resources.

This leads to the urgent need to manipulate more and more information in
order to make correct decisions.

It is recognized that information management is the fundamental basis of

adequate strategic management. The introduction of computer technology has
led to the various information systems becoming important elements in the
organization.

Considering the immense capacity, in terms of information management;

computers are capable of becoming a strategic advantage for the most diverse
organizations. Therefore, computing technology must be given, the great
importance and the sufficient time they deserve to help in a way

fruitful, the effective integration of analysis and intuition; instead of considering

it simply as a way or way to reduce costs.
