Water advice
Stand If the tap water in your area is very hard, it is advisable to mix

DISASSEMBLY ADVICE - IRON GC6420
GROMMET THERMOSTAT DIAL

INLAY IRON HOUSING

BACKPLATE IRON SUB-HOUSING

MICROSWITCH SOLEPLATE COVER

LAMP ASSY SOLEPLATE ASSY


Remove Screw A Remove Screws C1 – C6
Pull the GROMMET outwards. Remove Screws D1, D2
Disassemble IRON HOUSING
Note:
Follow direction of arrow 1 in Picture below. Remove Screws E1 – E4
Disassemble IRON SUB-HOUSING
This will disassemble INLAY-GROMMET-BACKPLATE Remove Screws F1 – F3
together. Disassemble SOLEPLATE COVER
Note:
Disassemble BACKPLATE by pressing in the direction of
arrow 2 in Picture below.

Remove Screw B
Disassemble Microswitch holder
Disassemble MICROSWITCH
