The project harnesses the potential of the private sector in mixed health
systems, where health care is offered through both the public and private
sectors. To strengthen private providers’ contributions to vital health care,
the project addresses challenges and leverages opportunities in supply and
demand to expand access to and use of evidence-based, high-quality health
information, products, and services. In addition, the project helps expand
public and private partnerships to strengthen the enabling environment for
