THE MIRACLE OF DIVINE PROIDENCE

What are you going to give to Jesus this Christmas? Yourself! That is all He wants - your 100% loving
heart. He gave you, Himself, His heart completely. He asks love for love. In each single child there in
the orphanage and those in the womb, He is there. Through you, Jesus gave these poor children love.
I call this love the Great Miracle of Providence.

Each one of us who supports the orphanage, and the pre-natal babies, is a miracle of the Providence
of God. You help until it hurts, but you feel that certain heavenly peace. You see, we cannot love without
suffering or suffer without loving.

So many turned their face away. These children are the most abandoned and disregarded. You did not
abandon them. There are those who are supposed to help, but they choose not to help. Some even
tried to hinder this great work of God. What an opportunity lost for all eternity! They did not recognise
the call of God. What a tremendous opportunity lost of blessing now and for eternity. A safety vest of
love was lost. With you, we trusted completely in God. I was inspired by our founder - Monsignor Joseph
Depiro to start the orphanage, and like him trusted in the Providence of God. Just like you did. Being
God's work, the orphanage survives and keeps on going. Thanks be to God.

There was no place for Jesus to be born. You benefactors gave Jesus a place in your heart. It is the
miracle of God. It amazes me how friends kept on contributing, year in year out and prayed with me.
God cares and takes care. Is not this another miracle of Divine Providence of God?

This is my conviction and yours dear Helpers. What a peaceful death we shall have. After this borrowed
time God will receive us into His bosom. What a Christmas it would be! What a Peaceful and a Divine
Holy Night for you all remembering that you have loved in faith the children you helped to give shelter,
food and love. Even though you never saw them you embrace them - you did this to Jesus. You saw
the poor Jesus in each one of them.

Today on the 8th of December 1988 we started the orphanage. That's 33 years ago! Imagine Monsignor
Depiro in heaven how blissful he feels! To see you. He preferred the orphans so much. To see this work
of Providence in Peru.

Really egoism begets destruction; altruism joy and peace.... here on earth and unto eternity.

Have a spiritually and peaceful filled Christmas. You are in my heart.

Sing: Silent Night, Oh Holy Night …..

Orphanage news.

Our accountant sent $USA20,000 around $AUS28,000 that we saved to cover the expense for the roof
and tiling of the second floor for the senior children and other needs to complete the building and
workshops on the lower floor for the children. They are also completing the chapel.

We are starting to save again, this time for the therapeutic farm for the children.

Two more children are to join with the others. Children's proper place is in the family. When we find the
parents, we arrange for them to go and live with them. The children we have are of unknown parents –
abandoned at schools, hospitals, etc. Parents never come back to pick them up.

Though it is a very long process we are trying for the orphanage to become self-supporting. We trust it
will be done.

Please pray for me so that God gives me some more time to leave the orphanage on its feet if it is His
will.
