Rule for transporting robots


No. Procedure Key Point
(1) Teach robot to shipping position prior to disconnecting
power.
1 Prepare robot for transportation (2) Remove any end effector that causes interference or
significantly alters center of gravity.
(3) Remove utilites and confirm by air gap
(1) Enter fork pockets with forks
(2) Lash robot to forklift mast

(4) Confirm fork ends protrude through pocket, tilt forks
back slightly and proceed with transportation
(1) Place fork beneath robot base as near the mast as
possible
(2) Robot must be secured to the forks and mast by certified

(4) Confirm the load is secure, lift and transport
