Program Outcomes:

Graduates of the Bachelor of Elementary Program equipped with relevant knowledge,


skills, attitude and values shall be able to:
1. Common to all programs in all types of schools:
a. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice;
b. Effectively communicate orally and writing using both English and Filipino;
c. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
d. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility; and
e. Preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage”.

2. Common to the Elementary Education discipline:


The minimum standards for the Bachelor of Elementary Education program are
expressed in the following minimum set of learning outcomes:
a. articulate the rootedness of education in philosophical, socio-cultural, historical,
psychological, and political contexts;
b. demonstrate mastery of subject matter/discipline;
c. facilitate learning using a wide range of teaching methodologies and delivery
modes appropriate to specific learners and their environments;
d. develop innovative curricula, instructional plans, teaching approaches, and
resources for diverse learners;
e. apply skills in the development and utilization of ICT to promote quality,
relevant, and sustainable educational practices;
f. demonstrate a variety of thinking skills in planning, monitoring, assessing, and
reporting learning processes and outcomes;
g. practice professional and ethical teaching standards sensitive to the local,
national, and global realities; and,
h. pursue lifelong learning for personal and professional growth through varied
experiential and field-based opportunities.

3. Specific to Bachelor of Elementary Program


Graduates of the Bachelor of Elementary program equipped with knowledge,
skills, attitudes, and values shall be able to:
a. design curriculum and learning environment inclusive of the diversities of the
learners;
b. demonstrate in-depth understanding of the diversity of learners in various
learning areas;
c. manifest meaningful and comprehensive pedagogical content knowledge (PCK)
of the different subject areas;
d. utilize appropriate assessment and evaluation tools to measure learning
outcomes;
e. manifest skills in communication, higher order thinking and use of tools and
technology to accelerate learning and teaching;
f. demonstrate positive attributes of a model teacher, both as an individual and as
a professional;
g. manifest a desire to continuously pursue personal and professional
development; and,
h. demonstrate ways to preserve and promote indigenous knowledge, systems
and practices.

Course A program designed as a service component of the NSTP contributory to

and institutional levels vis-à-vis national development in the context of self-awareness and
values integration and promotion framework for understanding human nature;
2. Interpret the basic concepts of development management and social mobilization;
3. Apply the concepts learned and design civic welfare projects/activities to be implemented as
a team in their assigned community, barangay or government agency;
4. Document team activities in their assigned barangay or government agency and provide a
summary of lessons learned in carrying out the CWTS projects and activities.;
