I. Learning Objectives
At the end of the 1 hour lesson, Grade III students will be able to:
a. Identify the Soprano standards voice
b. Appreciate your voice classification by trying Soprano range
c. Perform basic Soprano voice range in singing
A. Motivation
The teacher will play a music entitled “Hello There”. After hearing the song they will sing it
together.
B. Activity
“Pass the ball”
I will give a ball to students and let them sing a song and while singing the song they will pass the
ball to their classmates and when the teacher says stop the student that has the ball will perform
the given skill related physical fitness.(Agility, Speed, Balance, Reaction time, Power,
Coordination)
C. Analysis
a) What have you observe in our activity?
b) Did you find it difficult to perform?
c) Do you like singing ?
d) Are you singing while taking a bath?
e) Base on the activity that we have, what do you think is our topic for today?
D. Abstraction
Soprano
Is an Italian word that means “the treble in music,” or “high,” from sopra, or “above.” Definitions of
soprano. The highest female voice; the voice of a boy before puberty. Type of: singing voice. The
musical quality of the voice while singing.
E. Application
This time, let’s have an activity I will Group the students into 3 Groups and they will pick 1 box that
have a candy inside, and the color of their candy corresponds to the Group they belong. Each group
will be given a horn-shaped trumpet. I will give a name of a singer and they will guess if they’re a
soprano singer or not, they will just blow the trumpet to answer and the group who got the answer will
have a 2 point, and the first group that reach 10 points will be the winner.
IV. Evaluation
Direction: Using the word “SOPRANO” kindly make your own acronym of each provided letter.
Meaning each of letter should be inspired by music.
Example:
S – Singing
O – Outstandingly
P – Powerful
R – Range
A – artistry
N – Notable
O – On high

The teacher will Group the students into 3 (Student’s will pick 1 candy inside the box)
Groups and they will pick 1 box that have a (Student’s will go to their group)
candy and a title of a song inside. The color of (Student’s will perform)
their candy corresponds to the Group they
belong. Each group will sing the chorus only.
