Dear High School Parents,

We are happy to announce that because of the overwhelming positive response in the
interest survey we released last month, we are holding a field trip for learners in Grades 7 to 12!
We are going to Malagos Garden Resort, a 12-hectare agri-ecotourism destination located in
Barangay Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City. We chose Malagos Garden as our venue for this
year because the resort’s educational attractions are a great avenue for our learners to have a rich
hands-on experience about our environment and natural resources.
The cost of the field trip is P1,300 per learner which will cover transportation (bus fee),
lunch (Malagos educational trip lunch buffet), and entrance fees (bird-feeding dome, petting
zoo, butterfly sanctuary, contemporary art gallery, Science Park, power play, Chocolate
Museum and Chocolate Park).

Please carefully read through the field trip reminders below:

1. SCHEDULE and ITINERARY

Deadline of payments will be on November 20, 2023.

2. Things to Bring
- paper and pen
- extra BLACK t-shirt and face towel
- water / drinks, food for snacks to eat in the bus (preferably dry food only)

3. Other Reminders
Learners must be in COMPLETE P.E. uniform (P.E. shirt, jogging pants, rubber shoes
and SCHOOL I.D.) No electronics are allowed. Learners may bring a cellphone / camera;
however, the school is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property throughout the
duration of the trip.
Learners are not allowed to swim in the pool during the field trip. Free time will
be allocated after lunch for learners to explore the venue. Learners may choose to
avail of additional resort attractions (calesa ride, bike rental, chocolate-making,
vegetable harvest) at their own expense.
4. Parent’s Consent Form
Please fill-out the parent’s consent form at the bottom of this letter and give it to the
class moderator on or before the learner’s scheduled field trip date. LEARNERS WILL NOT
BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE TRIP WITHOUT A DULY SIGNED PARENT’S CONSENT
FORM.
LEARNERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE FETCHED FROM MALAGOS / DROP OFF
ALONG THE WAY TO SCHOOL / GO HOME ALONE. Right after the field trip, ALL learners
will be brought back by bus to the high school campus.

We believe that this field trip will be a valuable learning experience for our learners.
We look forward to the opportunity for them to spend time outdoors while learning and having
fun with their friends and schoolmates.

children to obey them.

Having understood all the aforementioned, I hereby consent to allow my child or children
to participate, acknowledging all of the foregoing. I am also solely responsible for providing
travel insurance and any expenses for my child or children's participation in the activity.
