Do I need Visa when visiting Maldives?


To enter Maldives no pre-arrival visa is required.
Maldives is a SAARC country and therefore there
is a special agreement to allow easy travel. Visa
is issued on arrival at Male Airport for a 30 day
stay- Visa is gratis. The traveller must hold a
passport valid for at least six months, confirmed
onward/return air ticket.

Maldives better?

If you're planning to visit the


Maldives in June, the southern atolls
are preferable. The number of rainy
days per month jumps to as many as
18 in the north, compared to only 10
or so in the south. Sharks and manta

south.
