I. OBJECTIVE
At the end of the lesson, the student will be able to:
 Define the electrical tools
 To know the purpose of electrical tools or its function?
 Identify the five (5) electrical tools.

Topic: ELECTRICAL TOOL AND THEIR FUNCTION.

 shot bond paper.

- You have 10 minutes to work

on your tasks and afterwards a
representative of each group
will present your work. Do you

- ELECTRICAL TOOLS AND

THEIR FUNCTION
- SCREW DRIVERS

multitude of variations to
correspond to the correct screw
drive.

- HAMMER

- used for general carpentry,

framing, nail pulling, cabinet
making, assembling furniture,

striking masonry drill and steel
chisels, and so on.

- PLIERS.

- Use to grip small objects, reach

awkward places, holding wires,
bend loops, and attach wires.
- WIRE STRIPPER

- a small hand-held tool that is

used to remove the insulation
from electric wires. These
portable hand-held tools are
extremely popular among
electricians and even DIYers
for removing the insulation to
replace or repair the wire.

- ELECTRICIANS KNIFE

- . serves a range of functions,

including: cutting and stripping
cables, cutting electrical tape
and insulation, and slicing and
opening equipment boxes and
packages

- PORTABLE ELECTRIC DRILL

- . It is used to create holes in

various materials, such as
wood, metal, and plastic. Drills
 are commonly used in
construction and carpentry
work, as well as in plumbing
and electrical work.

- HACKSAW

- A hacksaw is mainly used for

cutting thin metal such as
aluminum, brass, steel, or
copper. Hacksaws are also
used for cutting plastics such
as PVC, PEX, or ABS on pipes
or on sheet goods made of
PVC, polystyrene, and more.

- REMIDERS:

 Use the right tool for the

right job.
 Do not tease your
classmate or play while
working.
 Always remember that you
are working with a live wire.

D. APPLICATION
- Since already done our
discussion about electrical
tools. Get a piece of paper and
write an essay with 500 words
about how important to use
tools to do electrical works.

- I will give you 10mins before

this class end. ( the student will do their task)

finish doing your task.
