NO. 9 LOCATED IN RUIRU EAST BLOCK 2/2387 BY VALLEY GATE SHELTERS LIMITED
FORMERLY KNOWN AS JESPAT VISUAL INVESTMENT

AFFIDAVIT

I, GERALD MWANIKI KAHARE of I.D CARD NO. 21777202 in the Republic of Kenya do solemnly
make oath and state as follows:-

1. THAT I am a male adult of sound mind and dispensing memory and the above referenced applicant
hence competent to swear this affidavit. (Attached hereto is a copy of my I.D card)

2. THAT I am the purchaser for value for Plot No. 9 located in all that parcel of land known as RUIRU
EAST BLOCK 2/2387 from Joseph Gicheru Mburu of I.D No. 13217291 on 15 th September 2014 and
I was issued with a certificate to that effect for the Plot by Jespat Visual Investment who have since
changed their trading name to Valley Gate Shelters Limited. ( Attached hereto is an agreement for
sale of the said plot between Joseph Gicheru Mburu and I)

3. THAT I inadvertently lost the Certificate for Plot No.9 located in all that plot of land known as
RUIRU EAST BLOCK 2/2387 sometime back in the year 2016.

4. THAT I wish to be issued with a duplicate certificate of the subject plot by Valley Gate Shelters Ltd.
the successor of the defunct Jespat Visual Investment and to confirm that if I get the original
certificate thereof I will submit it to Valley Gate Shelters Ltd.

5. THAT I now swear this affidavit in support of my application to be issued with a duplicate Certficate
for Plot No. 9 located in RUIRU EAST BLOCK 2/2387 , to confirm that I lost the Original certificate
for the subject Plot and I will not hold liable Valley Gate Shelters Ltd. the successor of the defunct
Jespat Visual Investment once they issue me with a duplicate certificate for Certificate for Plot No.9
located in all that plot of land known as RUIRU EAST BLOCK 2/2387 , to undertake that I will
hand over the original certificate thereof once I find it and for any other purposes connected thereto.

6. THAT what is deposed to herein above is true to the best of my knowledge, information and belief,
and I state this contentiously in accordance with the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act Cap 15 of
the Laws of Kenya.
