A- Moving ahead in the face of adversity might be challenging but people who can overcome this fear and move ahead are the ones who emerge successfully. Being positive gives you hope and strength to undo your limits. It decreases you fear and lets you try possibilities H- Thanks Aahhana for enlightening us with the topic. A- Do you know how to speak something in German? H- No I don’t but don’t worry I have Kartik here to present a beautiful quote in German. K- Wir mussen JA sowesio denkenwarrum neicht gleich positive? It means we need to think, anyway- why not think positively straight away. A- It was a great thought. Have you ever come across the story of Akhbar- Birbal where Akhbar leaves behind his thumb by his own action and saves himself from the the mouth of death. H- Yes I have heard of that story and you know what, Ritwik and Shiven are here to enact the story, but before that clould you make me aware of today’s news. A- Why not! Yashna is here with us for the news headlines. NEWS________ H- Thanks Yashna for updating us with the news headlines. Now we are presenting the skit hope you all like it. Akhbar went out one day for hunting and unluckily he came across an incident where while taking out his sword he himself got hurt as the sword separated his thumb from his hand. R- ------ S- ----- R- ----------------- And by the dawn I would not see him alive. A- Again the next morning Akhbar went for hunting and being unlucky he got attacked by adivasi’s. They took him to their area and hanged him with the rope. In the happiness for getting today’s prey they all start dancing expressing their happiness. H- Soon one adivasi saw that Akhbar’s thumb was not there. His thumb saved him as he was not perfect to be the prey of adivasi. He started crying as he though till now Birbal would have been taken to death of bed. R- --------------- S- ------------------ R- -------------------- S- -------------------- H- Hope you enjoyed the act and you might have understood what the act tells us that never be sad what happens- happens for good, be positive and think that next moment will be better than last one. A- Before we draw curtains onto our assembly session we would like to update you with vocabulary check of the same topic which means we would tell you the synonyms and antonyms and the usage of phrases.
