This document provides calibration procedures for a caliper. It instructs the user to clean the caliper, inspect it for damage, and ensure the jaws close fully before beginning calibration. The calibration process involves positioning the object and caliper correctly, applying even measuring force, using the full range of the caliper, and turning it off after measuring. Diagrams demonstrate incorrect measuring angles that can impact results and emphasize the importance of measuring parallel to surfaces.

How Pre-calibration Inspection Calibation 1. Remove any oil, dirt or debris from caliper measuremnent surface using lent free cloth and cleaning solution. 1. Position of object to be measured 2. Confirm if there are any dents/ bended areas on tip of inner/outer jaws. 2. Angle of measuring surface and contact angle 3. Confirm that there is no space when the jaws are put together 3. Measure with appropriate, yet even measuring force 4. Move the slider until the maximum measuring range 4. Press power OFF switch after measuring is complete 5. Push the power ON switch 6. Put inner jaws together and press the "ZERO" switch
