All About Me Transcript

Hello, my name is Anna Grace, and I would like to tell you a little bit more about myself.
In high school I played volleyball and now my favorite sport is pickleball as I like to play with my
family, and we love learning a new sport: it's full of smiles and laughs. My journey to discover
my real passion began in high school when I was a part of the early childhood education
program and I got to work with kids every morning. Currently I'm majoring in Youth and
Community Development, but I might make a switch to special education. I taught special
education over the summer to preschoolers, and it was very life-changing and eye-opening. I
also worked at a daycare where I realized the importance of early childhood education and the
impact it can have on children's lives. One of my passions related to education is preserving
traditional teaching methods as in pencil and paper because I think it's very important and not all
children have access to technology and so I like to keep it equal. I'm excited to continue this
journey and I can't wait to become an educator and impact those lives.
