Rules

2023
TM INTER SCHOOL
SPORTS COMPETITION
1) The organizing committee reserves the right to modify or revise the rules.
2) The game rules will be implemented as adopted by the Association.
3) The Referee's decision shall be final and binding on both teams' players and
officials.
4) The organizers hold no responsibility for any injuries, fractures, damage, or
accidents during the competition.
5) All players/participants and team officials must adhere to the rules set by the
organizing committee.
6) Each school is permitted to send only one team for team games and a maximum of
5 participants for individual games. Only a single team can represent the school in
each age group category.
7) Participants/teams must report to the competition venue at least 30 minutes before
the scheduled event time.
8) The organizers are not liable for any loss of personal belongings.
9) Any weapons, sharp objects, or objectionable items will be confiscated immediately.
10) Unruly behavior, violence, offensive language, smoking on the premises, and
possession or use of abusive substances like alcohol will result in the immediate
disqualification of the entire school contingent to which the offending students
belong.
11) The overall winners and runners-up will be announced on the final day of Viva on
17th December 2023 in Mumbai.
12) Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
13) Once a protest is decided by the Executive Committee, it will be considered final
and binding, and no further disputes will be entertained.
14) Forms will only be accepted with the entry fees, which are non-refundable.
15) On-the-spot entries will not be accepted.
16) Separate entry forms must be filled in for boys and girls.
17) Please fill out separate forms based on the number of entries.
18) The entry form must be properly filled in, stamped, and signed by the principal, and
submitted along with the entry fee at the fee counter between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
19) Protest Procedure: Any protest must be lodged within half an hour of the match's
conclusion through the accredited Sports in charge/Coach of the team, along with a
protest fee of Rs. 3000/-. The protest must be submitted to the organizing secretary.
20) The referee's decision is final and binding on both teams' players and officials.

21) Players/teams must present Aadhar cards and School ID cards upon request, and
photocopies of the same must be submitted along with the complete team list to the
organizing committee before the first game.
22) Any team found with an overage player, or any document manipulation will be
disqualified without prior notice.
23) The team might be required to participate in 2 or more matches in a single day.
24) Requests for rescheduling or altering match timings will not be considered.
25) Players are prohibited from wearing any form of jewelry, including rings, chains,
watches, or metal spectacles, while on the field.
26) It is mandatory to tuck in the jersey during gameplay.
27) We are excited to announce the upcoming Viva Basketball Inter-School
Competitions for under 14 boys and girls. These highly anticipated events will take
place at the zonal level, intra-city level, and culminate in the prestigious Viva
national-level tournaments in December.
28) The highly anticipated premier competitions, namely "Swing & Swirl," featuring
exceptional solo and group performances, will be continued in all its grandeur. The
mesmerizing showcases of talent in "Voice of Viva" and "Viva NOVA" for both boys
and girls will also be organized with the same fervor and excitement as always.

SWIMMING
Rules :
1. Swimmers must report 30 minutes before the start of their event.
2. The rules of the Aquatic Federation shall be implemented.
3. Points Computation & Criteria for Determination of Best Swimmer Points
Computation.
4. For Determination of the best swimmer- winner/runner-up in each age category for
Boys Girls the points allocated will be 7, 5 & 3 points of the top three places respectively
in each individual event.
5. Best Swimmer – Winner / Runner-up in each category for Boys / Girls will be
determined by sequentially adopting the following criteria:
a. The number of records broken / bettered in individual events.
b. The total number of Gold /Silver /Bronze Medals earned in individual events.
c. If deadlock persists the honours' will be shared.

SKATING
Rules :
1. All participants are required to wear appropriate safety guards.
2. It is mandatory for all participants to wear hard helmets and skintight body suits.
3. The rules of the game will be implemented as adopted by the Local Association.
4. Both the skaters and officials are expected to adhere to all the rules set by the
Tournament Committee.
5. Every skater/team must carry a First Aid Kit, possess medical insurance, and
participate at their own responsibility, without placing blame on the Organizers, Club,
or Coaches for any injuries or mishaps that may occur.

BASKETBALL
FIBA 5x5 Basketball Tournament Rules
Age Groups:
U/9, U/10, U/11, U/12 and U/13 age groups will follow MINI rules of FIBA.
U/14 and U/16 age groups will follow Latest FIBA Rules.
1. All the Latest Official FIBA Basketball Rules shall apply in all the category.
2. Basketball Size 5 will be used for U/9, U/10, U/11, U/12 Boys and Girls.
3. Basketball Size 6 will be used for U/13 Boys and Girls.
4. Basketball Size 7 will be used for U/14 and U/16 Boys and Size 6 will be used for
U/14 and U/16 Girls.
5. The Players/teams must produce Aadhar cards & School ID cards whenever
demanded and photocopies of the same should be submitted along with the
complete team list to organising committee before the first game.
6. The players and the team Official shall abide by all the rules of the tournament
committee.
7. The game will be forfeited if the team arrives 15 minutes later than the scheduled
game time.
Team Composition:
1. A team shall comprise of 10 players.
2. Each team member shall wear a shirt numbered on the front and back with plain
numbers, of a colour contrasting with the colour of the shirt. The numbers shall be
clearly visible.
3. Teams may only use jersey numbers 0 and 00 and numbers from 1 to 99.
Uniform and Colour Clash:
1. The uniform of all team members shall consist of shirts of the same dominant
colour front and back as the shorts. If shirts have sleeves, they must end above the
elbow. Long sleeved shirts are not permitted.
2. The first team named in the schedule (home team) shall wear light-coloured shirts
(preferably white).
3. The second team named in the schedule (visiting team) shall wear dark-coloured
shirts.
4. However, if the 2 teams agree, they may interchange the colours of the shirts.
5. In case of a colour clash, the first team named in the schedule shall wear bibs or
change the Jersey.
Game Duration:
1. The match will be played over 4 quarters of 7 minutes each.
2. The Game Clock shall be stopped whenever a foul is called, or the referee instructs
to stop the Game Clock in MINI Rules.

3. The officials will not check the ball for a “throw in”. Referee will check the ball only
when the game clock is stopped in MINI Rules.
4. In case the scores are tied at the end of regulation time, the game shall continue for
as many overtime periods as required to resolve the tie. The Overtime periods, if
required, will be 5 minutes each. During extra period(s), the teams shall continue to
score in the same basket as was done during the 4th quarter of the scheduled
game.
5. Referees’ decision will be final.
6. The captain shall inform the crew chief no later than 15 minutes following the end of
the game, if his/her team is protesting against the result of the game and sign the
scoresheet in the 'Captain's signature in case of protest' column with a formal
complaint in writing with non-refundable fee of Rs.1000/-

FIBA 3x3 Basketball Tournament Rules


1. The latest FIBA 3X3 basketball rules will be followed.
2. The players and the team officials shall abide by all the rules of the Tournament
committee.
3. All the Participating teams must report to the venue 30 minutes prior to the
scheduled time.
Age category
1. U/14 Boys and Girls: Age Cut-off Date: Born on or After 1st January 2010.
2. U/16 Boys and Girls: Age Cut-off Date: Born on or After 1st January 2008.
3. The Players/teams must produce Aadhar cards & School ID cards whenever
demanded and photocopies of the same should be submitted along with the
complete team list to organising committee before the first game.
Court and Ball
1. The game will be played on 1 half court with 1 hoop.
2. The official 3x3 Size 6 ball shall be used in all categories.
Teams
1. Maximum 4 Players in each team (3 players on the court and 1 substitute).
2. Each team member shall wear a shirt numbered on the front and back with plain
numbers, of a colour contrasting with the colour of the shirt. The numbers shall be
clearly visible.
3. Teams may only use jersey numbers 0 and 00 and numbers from 1 to 99.

Coaching
Coaches on the playground and/or remote coaching from the side-lines are not allowed.
Game Officials
The game officials shall consist of 2 referees and 3 table officials.
Playing Time/Winner of a Game
1. The regular playing time shall be 1 period of 10 minutes. The game clock shall be
stopped during dead ball situations and free throws.
2. The Short clock will be 12-seconds.
3. No Break after scoring.
4. No Quarters and Half-Time.
5. However, the first team which scores 21 points or more wins the game if it happens
before the end of regular playing time.
6. If the score is tied at the end of regular playing time, an overtime shall be played.
There shall be an interval of 1 minute before the overtime starts. The first team to
score 2 points in the overtime wins the game.
Beginning of the Game
1. A coin flip shall determine which team gets the first possession. The team that wins
the coin flip can either choose to benefit from the ball possession at the beginning
of the game or at the beginning of a potential overtime.
2. The game must start with 3 players of each team on the court.
Scoring
Every shoot inside the arc shall be awarded 1 point and behind the arc shall be
awarded 2 points and every successful free throw shall be awarded 1 point.
Time-outs
Each team is granted 1 team time-out. Any player or substitute can call the time-out in a
dead ball situation.
Protest
The captain shall inform the crew chief no later than 10 minutes following the end of the
game, if his/her team is protesting against the result of the game and sign the scoresheet in
the 'Captain's signature in case of protest' column with a formal complaint in writing with
non-refundable fee of Rs.1000/-

JUDO
1. Competitors must report 15 minutes before the scheduled time to the
Official-in-Charge at the venue.
2. All participants should wear their respective judo uniform before entering the arena
and during the bout.
3. The organizing committee of Judo reserves the right to alter or amend any of the
rules.
4. If a student does not fit in his/her respective weight/age category and does not get
to compete in the bout/event, the entry fee will not be refunded.
5. Each team should be accompanied by a Sports Master/Teacher-in-Charge/Coach.
6. All participants shall ensure that their finger and toe nails are neatly trimmed, to
avoid injury to their opponent.
7. Before the commencement of the bout, all participants must ensure that they are
not wearing any earrings, watches, bracelets, chains, rings etc. on their body. No
exceptions will be made even due to religious reasons/beliefs etc. The rules of Judo
Federation of India (JFI) will be applicable.
8. The organizers have the right to disqualify or refuse the bout if the
above-mentioned rules are not adhered too.
9. The Jury’s decision in the conduct of the bout/event will be final.
10. The Tournament Committee’s decision on all matters concerning the competition
will be final and binding.

Discipline:
• Kindly note you are sending the entries after accepting our terms and conditions of
the tournament.
• Damage to the property, misbehavior of a serious nature will result in suspension of
the players. The school concerned will have to bear or make good the loss of
property.
• Participating schools’ Sports Master/ Teacher in charge & Coaches will not be
allowed near the weighing area.

Rules :
CRICKET
1. The tournament will consist of matches with a maximum of 10- 12
overs per side.
2. Each innings will have a time duration of 1 hour.
3. There will be a 10-minute interval between the two innings.
4. Each team can have a maximum of 15 players in their squad.
5. The host will provide the cricket balls, and there will be no umpire fees for the
teams.
6. The matches will be played with a red leather ball.
7. Only the first 16 teams are eligible to participate in the tournament.
8. A wide ball will be considered as 1 run, and an extra ball (delivery) should be given.
9. In the case of a tied match, a Super Over will be implemented to determine the
winner.
10. In the case of a no ball, a free hit will be given to the batting team.
11. All players must wear appropriate cricket attire, including rubber spikes, during the
matches.
12. The tournament will follow a knock-out format, where teams will be eliminated after
losing a match.
13. Teams are required to report to the venue one hour before their scheduled match.
14. If a match is delayed due to rain, the winner will be decided by a toss, considering the
knock-out format.
15. The tournament will have three categories: Boys U-12, U-14, and U-16.
16. In the Boys U-12 category, one team will bat on the same wicket for the entire
inning, while the second team will bat on the other side of the wicket. Batsmen
won't change their side after every over.

INTER VIBGYOR PARENTS


CRICKET TOURNAMENT
1. Teams must report 30 mins before schedule for registration and briefing.
2. Overs: Each match consists of four overs, with four new bowlers delivering the
overs.
3. Ball: Tennis ball used for the tournament.
4. Type of Venue: Games conducted on natural or artificial turf. Compact field size
designed for 8 players.
5. Team Composition: Each team comprises 8 players and has 2 substitutes (making
a total of 10 players). Teams must have a minimum of 8 players; failure to meet this
requirement results in the opponent being declared the winner.
6. Tournament Format: The matches are structured as knockout rounds.

7. Tie Breaker: In the event of a tie, a one-over match will be played.
8. Appropriate cricket clothing: A jersey paired with cricket trousers, with a jersey color
that is easily distinguishable from that of the opposing team.
9. Walking out in protest leads to disqualification.
10. No unauthorized entry during play.
11. Non-parent player identification leads to team disqualification.
12. Referee's decision final; no protests against decisions.
13. It is essential for all participants to have their child's school ID Card with them.
Failure to adhere to this requirement could lead to the possibility of disqualification
for the team.
14. The organizer reserves the authority to disqualify any team or participant from the
tournament due to disciplinary reasons.
15. The organizer holds the prerogative to decline any entry without providing any
explanation whatsoever.
16. No postponements or timing changes.
17. No jewelry on players; decision of tournament committee final in rule gaps.

Rules :
LAWN TENNIS
1. The rules of the Lawn Tennis Federation shall be implemented,
as adapted by the Association.
2. Players who have already participated in a particular age category will not
be permitted to participate in a lower age category.
3. Proper tennis attire, including a cap and goggles, is allowed during
competitions.
4. Parents are not permitted in the lawn tennis area.
5. Important: Incorrectly filled entries will be rejected. If the committee identifies
incorrect entries during the scrutiny of the Entry Form, those specific entries will be
cancelled, and the school will be held solely responsible. No refund will be
provided.

5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL
Rules :
All the matches will be played on the League cum Knock out basis.
The Field
1. The match will take place on a natural grass/artificial turf s field.
2. The field will have small dimensions suitable for 5-a-side games.
3. There will be a penalty area on the field.
4. A half line will be present.
Player
1. Teams consist of 5 players plus a goalkeeper and 2 substitutes, totaling 7 registered
players.
2. A player from a younger age group can participate in an older age category if they
haven't played in that category before.
3. Substitutions can be made freely, but only among the 7 registered players.
4. Teams must have a minimum of 4 players; otherwise, the opposing team wins the
game.
Player Equipment
1. Players must wear jerseys and shorts as proper football attire.
2. Shin guards and stockings are compulsory for player safety. Referees can ask players
to leave the field if they are not properly equipped.
3. Proper sports shoes with studs are allowed, while barefoot players are not
permitted.
4. Jerseys should have a distinct colour to differentiate from both the opponent and the
goalkeeper.
Duration of the match
1. The match duration is limited to a maximum of 20 minutes, with each half lasting 10
minutes. The teams will switch sides at halftime, unless the organizer decides to
reverse this arrangement.
Goalkeeper
2. Every team is required to have a goalkeeper.
Scoring
3. Goals can be scored from any part of the playground.
4. Offside rules are not applicable in this tournament.
5. There are no specific scoring zones, halves, or restricted areas for scoring.
6. Heading is allowed, without any limitations, in this tournament.
Points tabulation and walkover
1. A team earns 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.
2. If a team receives a walkover in the league, they will be awarded 3 points, and the
average goal of the opposing team will be considered.

3. If a team fails to report within 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, a goal will be
awarded against the defaulting team for every 5-minute interval. If there is further
delay, the opponent will be granted a walkover.
Grouping and Qualification
1. Each group will have more than 2 teams.
2. The team that finishes first in each group qualifies for the next round (based on the
number of teams participating).
3. If two teams in a group have equal points, the following criteria will determine
qualification:
4. Result of their previous match against each other.
5. Goal average.
6. Goals scored.
7. Goals conceded.
8. A toss will be held for a Golden Penalty kick. The captain of the toss-winning team
decides whether to kick or save (only one kick).
Tie Breaker: for knock out stage round.
1. Each team will have the opportunity to take 3 penalty kicks from the penalty mark. In
other words, the sudden death rule will be in effect until the referees make
decisions based on time considerations.
2. In the case of a tie after regular playtime in the semi-final and final matches, an
additional 5 minutes of extra time may be played. If a decision is still not reached, a tie
breaker will be used, followed by sudden death, if necessary, as outlined in clause
9.C.5.
3. Penalty kicks or tie breaker kicks will be taken from the penalty spot.
Infringement
1. If a team exits the playing field in protest during the match, they will be disqualified from
the tournament.
2. Only players and officials are allowed to enter the field during the match; no one
else may do so.
3. In the case of repeated yellow card offenses by the same player:
4. The first yellow card will serve as a warning.
5. Upon receiving a second yellow card, the player will be suspended for 2 minutes.
6. If a player accumulates 3 yellow cards, it will be considered a red card offense. The
player will be unable to participate for the remainder of the match, and no
substitution will be permitted.
7. A red card will result in the player's suspension for the remaining duration of the same
match. The severity of the offense will be evaluated by the committee to determine the
extent of the suspension.

8. If a player is found to not be a student of the respective school, the team will be
disqualified from the tournament.
9. The referee's decisions during the match are final. No protests will be entertained
regarding factual matters concerning the referee's decisions.
Start & Restart the Match
1. The starting position for a direct kick is from the center point/spot.
2. Instead of throwing, a kick-in will be used, but it will be an indirect kick (with a maximum
height limit up to the knee level), except for U-10 where there is no height limit.
3. During any type of free kick, opponents must stand or form a wall at a minimum
distance of 5 yards. Failure to do so may result in the referee issuing a yellow card,
in accordance with clause 11.C.
4. U-12 players are not permitted to perform volley kicks as a goalkeeper.
General
1. The kick-off shall be taken directly.
2. A goal kick shall be taken directly.
3. A corner kick shall be taken directly.
4. The goalkeeper's kick or throw-in shall be taken directly.
5. A throw-in or kick-in shall be taken indirectly.
6. The Offside rule does not apply.
7. A penalty kick shall be awarded for any penal offense committed inside the penalty
area.
8. Direct and indirect free kicks shall be awarded according to the laws of the game or the
referee's decision.
9. Rolling substitutions are allowed; however, the first player must leave the field
before the substitute can enter. Failure to do so will result in a yellow card (clause
11.c) and an indirect free kick from where the player entered.
10. If a substitute player touches the ball while the match is in progress and the ball is in
play, a direct kick or penalty kick shall be awarded against their team.

7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL
Rules :
1. The Tournament will be played on league cum knockout format.
2. Each age category 16 Teams will participate; entries will be
on first come first serve basis.
3. A team will consist of 7+3=10 Players for each age group.
4. The game time per match will be 10 minutes each half, with 2
minutes break between the two halves and the quarter finals. Semifinals
and the finals will be played for 12 minutes each half, with 5 minutes break
between the two halves.
5. All the players from the team should be in proper playing kit along with the shoes and
stockings.
6. All the Players are required to carry their original school ID Cards & Aadhar cards with
them during the tournament at the respective venues. Players should produce their
ID cards at the venue as and when asked for it.
7. Any team found with an over aged player or any manipulation in the documents will be
disqualified without any kind of prior intimation.
8. The tournament will be played as per the rules of 7 -A-Side Football Federation of
India.
9. The organizers have the right to postpone or cancel the tournament. All schools are
requested to co-operate with the organizers for smooth conduct of the event.

9-A-SIDE FOOTBALL
Rules :
1. Only 16 teams will be granted entries in each group. We kindly request
you to submit your entries promptly.
2. Teams are required to report at least thirty minutes prior to their
scheduled match.
3. The duration of the league matches will be 10 minutes per half, with a
2-minute break between the two halves. The quarterfinals, semi-finals, and finals
will have a game time of 15 minutes per half, with a 5-minute break between the
two halves.
4. All players must be dressed in an appropriate playing kit, including proper football
studs and stockings.
5. The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the 9-A-Side.
6. The organizers reserve the right to postpone or cancel the tournament in the event
of unforeseen circumstances. We kindly ask all schools to cooperate with the
organizers in such cases.

RUNATHON
Rules :
1. This event is conducted under the aegis of MSDAA
(Mass Sports and Athletics Association) and officiated by the MSDAA team.
2. The top 6 (six) participants in each category will be awarded medals and
certificates.
3. An overall team championship will be awarded to the best team with the maximum
cumulative performance.
4. There is no restriction on the number of entries.
5. The last date for entries is on 15th September 2023.

7. Participants are advised to choose their event category carefully as confirmed
registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified.
8. Before participating in the event, participants must consult their physician and
undergo a complete medical examination to assess their suitability for the
Runathon.
9. Participants take full responsibility for their involvement in the Runathon and agree
not to hold the organizing committee, its members, or entities responsible for any
injuries or accidents. This includes, but is not limited to, contact with other
participants, effects of weather conditions (including high heat or humidity), traffic,
road conditions, arson or terrorist threats, and all other risks associated with a
public event.
10. Participants are required to comply with instructions provided by the organizers
from time to time, in the best interest of health and safety.
11. Participants agree to stop running if instructed to do so by the Race Director,
Medical staff, or Aid station volunteers.
12. In the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents, threats on the day,
force majeure, or restrictions imposed by authorities, the organizers reserve the
right to stop, cancel, or postpone the event.
13. There will be no refund for participants who fail to show up on the race day for any
reason. Cooperation from all runners is requested in this regard.
14. Under no circumstance will BIBs be distributed on the Race Day. Participants must
collect their BIBs in advance as instructed.
15. Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or tag with
another individual will be disqualified from the Event.
16. By registering for the Viva Runathon, participants agree to abide by these rules and
regulations, and any violations may result in disqualification from the event. The
safety and well-being of all participants are of paramount importance, and all
participants are expected to adhere to these guidelines for a successful and
enjoyable event.

GYMNASTICS BASIC/ADVANCED
Floor Exercises (Boys & Girls U/8, 10, 12,16) :
1. There will be 5 groups of elements. Each gymnast must perform 2
elements from each group, with a maximum of 10 elements.
2. Rolls: Forward Roll, Backward Roll, Pencil Roll, Straddle Roll, Pike Roll,
Dive Roll, Handstand Roll.
3. Balance: T balance, Y balance, L hold, Straddle L hold, Candle Stand, Head Stand,
Forearm Stand, Handstand.
4. Flexibility: Splits, Bridge, Kneeling arch, Pancake.
5. Acrobatics: Walkover, Cartwheel, Round-off, Head spring, Neck spring, Handspring,
Flic flac, Back Salto, Forward Salto.
6. Jumps & Turns: Tuck Jump, Straddle Jump, Pike Jump, Turn Jump, Toe Turn.
7. Each element is assigned a 'D' score of 1.00 points. A maximum of 10 elements
can be counted, resulting in a maximum D score of 10.00 points. However, not
more than 2 elements from any family group will be counted for the D score.
Execution errors will incur deductions as follows :
1. Small error: 0.10 points deduction
2. Medium error: 0.20 points deduction
3. Large error: 0.30 points deduction
4. Repetition of an element: 0.3 deduction each time
5. Pauses longer than 3 seconds: 0.3 deduction each time
6. Unnecessary or additional movements: 0.10 deduction each time
7. Major falls will result in a penalty of 0.50 points.
8. The 'E' score is determined by subtracting the execution deductions from 10.00.
9. The final score (out of 20.00) is calculated by adding the D score and E score.

Floor Exercises (U/6 Boys & Girls) :


Participants must perform any 6 elements, resulting in a final score out of 16.00.

SPRINGBOARD (Boys & Girls U/8, U/10):


Participants have to perform the jumps twice:

U/8: Simple straight jump & Tuck Jump


U/10: Tuck jump, Pike Jump, Straddle Jump
1. Each jump has a 'D' score of 4.50 for each attempt. There is a 0.50 bonus for a
fixed landing, resulting in a maximum D score of 10.00.

2. The execution score for each jump is out of 5.00 points. The final score (out of
20.00) is the combined score of the two jumps.
3. This score of 2 vaults (out of 20.0) will be considered for the All-Around and Event
Championship.

Vaulting Table (Boys & Girls U/12) :

Balancing Beam - Age Categories (U/8, U/10, U/12,U16)


U/8 Girls:
1. 5 compulsory elements, each worth 2.00 points, with no optional elements.
2. Maximum 'D' score is 10.00 points.
3. The sequence of the elements is optional, and the gymnast can climb onto the
beam in any way.
4. The sequence of above elements is optional. Gymnasts will mount with simple
support.
5. The 'E' score is determined by subtracting the execution deductions from 10.00.
6. The final score (out of 20.00) is calculated by adding the D score and E score.
Compulsory Elements (U/8) :
• Walk on toes - 4 steps.
• Simple straight jump.
• Stand on toes - both legs - hold for 2 seconds.
• Flat foot leg holds up (Front/side/back) - 30 to 45 degrees - hold for 2 seconds.
• Straight jump dismount.

U/10 Girls
1. There are 5 compulsory elements, each worth 2.00 points, with no optional
elements.
2. The maximum 'D' score is 10.00 points.
3. The sequence of the elements is optional, and the gymnast will mount with simple
support.
4. The sequence of above elements is optional. Gymnasts will mount with simple

U/12 Girls:
1. There are 5 compulsory elements, each worth 2.00 point, with no optional
elements.
2. The maximum 'D' score is 10.00 points.
3. The sequence of the elements is optional.
4. The sequence of above elements is optional. Gymnasts will mount with simple
support.
5. No coaching from the sidelines is allowed during the competition. Coaches are not
permitted to stand near FX or VT. For U/8 girls, the coach can stand near the beam
but cannot assist.Merit certificates will be awarded to the top six competitors from
each event for MAG and WAG.
6. Medals will be awarded to the top three competitors from each event for MAG and
WAG.
7. The 'E' score is determined by subtracting the execution deductions from 10.00.
8. The final score (out of 20.00) is calculated by adding the D score and E score.

Compulsory Elements (U/12):


• Split sitting forward or side - hold for 2 seconds.
• Consecutive 2 straight jumps.
• 180 Degree turn on toe, of one leg (free leg forward).
• Front scale hold for 2 seconds.
• Any dismount can be performed.

U/16 Girls:
1. There are 5 compulsory elements, each worth 2.00 point, with no optional
elements.
2. The maximum 'D' score is 10.00 points.
3. The sequence of the elements is optional.
4. The sequence of above elements is optional. Gymnasts will mount with simple
support.

KARATE
1. All players are required to report to the designated area 30 minutes
prior to the scheduled start of their match.
2. Players must be dressed in the appropriate judo uniform during the
matches.
3. The game will be conducted in accordance with the rules adopted by the Pune
District Judo Association.
4. Both players and officials are obligated to adhere to all rules set by the tournament
committee.
5. The organizing committee retains the right to modify or adjust the rules of the
tournament if necessary.
6. The decisions made by the Referee hold ultimate authority and must be accepted
by all players and officials without dispute.

Code of Conduct:
All participants are expected to uphold the highest standards of skill and fair play, reflecting
the principles of Karate Do. Every effort should be made to show the utmost respect and
dignity towards fellow participants. Consequently, any gestures or actions symbolizing
victory or triumph are strictly prohibited.

HANDBALL
Rules :
1. Only the first 16 teams will be allowed to participate in each category.
2. Each team can consist of 12 players. The teams will be divided into
four groups, and the tournament will be played in a League cum Knockout
format. In the league stage, each team will play three matches.
3. The match timings will be 15 minutes per half, with a 5-minute break.
4. In the event of a colour clash between teams, a coin toss before the start of the match
will determine which team will wear bibs.
5. The matches will be played according to the rules set by the International Handball
Federation (IHF).
