SUBJECT: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE

AND LITERATURE RESEARCH CONFERENCE

It is with great pleasure, that I announce the conclusion of the National Language and
Literature Research Conference, which took place from November 14–15, 2023. Educators,
graduate students, and fellow enthusiasts from the field of linguistics from all across the
country gathered at Leyte Normal University to participate in talks and exchange the most
recent results of their studies in the fields of language and literature.

The following are the relevant details from the conference:

1. Participants: We were grateful for the participation of 223 people, which included
seasoned researchers, and bright graduate students. The attendees' varied experiences
and viewpoints enhanced the depth of the academic discourse.
2. Speakers: Our very own prominent speakers, Dr. Myrna Macalinao, and Dr. Glenda
Cadiente gave their welcoming remarks on the event together with Dr. Noam
Chomsky who is known for creating the universal grammar theory and many more.
Our distinguished speakers also shared panel discussions which led to the highlight of
the event.
3. Feedback: The conference's organization, content, and general intellectual
atmosphere have all received high marks in the overwhelmingly positive early
reaction from attendees.
In conclusion, the National Language and Literature Research Conference was a huge
success and has enhanced Leyte Normal University as a standing center for academic
integrity, service, and excellence. We look forward to building on this accomplishment for the
next conferences and events that keep pushing the boundaries of not only the knowledge of
our share and stakeholders but also its excellence.

Thank you for supporting and guiding the successful completion of our conference and future
academic endeavors.
