Theme of the song:

I think that we can interpret this song mostly in two

ways. One of them could be how as a society we
should all change for the better, stop caring so much
about what everyone does, and be our true selves.
The other way of interpreting the song it's actually
really similar. It's about being our true selves without
having to worry about others' thoughts. Especially if
its coming from someone whose personality is likely to
be judged just because its not common.

Since the singer is talking about how he thinks and

dreams about this idea of the world being a better
place we can deduce the topic.
If we take a proper look we can also deduce the
theme, by the way he is always talking about ‘’we’’,
meaning us as a society or the group of people I
commented on before.

Figurative language:

I choose the phrase ‘’floating up and dreaming’’ as an

idiom, because it’s a lyric that expresses something
but cannot be taken seriously, since the singer or
anyone is not floating literally.
I think that the true meaning of the lyrics is that he is
thinking and dreaming of that society I mentioned,
and just giving thought about how it would be.

I think this can also be proven really easily, because

as I said before it's not scientifically or proven in
general that someone could float, or if it actually
happened. Also it would not really make sense if the
singer meant it literally.

Rhetorical appeal:

I think the singer, Harry, was somehow using Kairos,

since he knows when and how to say things so his
public (the people who listen to and enjoy his music)
relates to the lyrics, or just vibes to them depending
on what they like.
