ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am an avid mountain biker with a history of racing around the UK with the team ‘Pilgrim Flyers’
Sailing is one of many hobbies which I enjoy on a free weekend, and I am an all-round active person.
Achieved both the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh rewards which taught me resilience and
teamwork.
I have a strong passion for the environment with a lifelong goal of making everywhere I go more
sustainable. Has led to many projects including presenting to ideas to management at The Lounge
for using paper straws, reusable menus and sourcing napkins from local businesses.
Within school I was Head student and made a group called Earth Alliance, managing a small group of
students through projects such as changing paper resources from overseas to a local source, wasted
space in school playgrounds have been changed to wildflower gardens and we have implemented
beehives onto the roofs of the school. Has reduced business spending and improved these
institutions carbon footprint and I hope to always bring my passion for the environment into every
workplace and opportunity I am involved in.
