'In-service' the word is originated from Latin word 'in' means


'within' & 'servus' means 'a slave', 'educare'.

According to Hamelin defined, In-service education as a


planned educational activity organizes by the employer to
the employees to improve the knowledge & skills to
accomplish the specific purpose of the organization.
