Blog Update #4 December 4, 2023

Since the previous blog post, I have accomplished lots with my personal project, capstone. Over the last
two weeks I have put lots of hard work, effort and lots of unforgettable hours into this project. I was
fortunate enough to volunteer on December 1 st, helping the Langley Food Bank prepare essentials items
for people in desperate need. I was able to meet lots of genuine souls, older individuals who have been
freely volunteering for years, just to make their community and the world a better place. I have been in
touch with the main person at the food bank ‘Shawna” who allowed for this to all come into effect. She
gave me all the statistics and showed me around where greatness happened. Recently lots of families
and people have reached out to the foodbank as times are tough, and everything is so pricy. I realized
from this day, that from now on I will always be ten times more grateful in most scenarios of life, I have
the main necessities, and some people do not. Before my volunteering, I was able to drop off all the food
& money donations I received over the last months. I was surprised how much I raised and am quite
grateful for everyone who donated their hard earnings. I am grateful that I can use my voice to provide
for others in need.

Now that I have done all the hard work, I must put my efforts into building a presentation plan and
showcase all the work I have be doing. I will need to stay self-motivated and remain confident in myself
as the semester is coming to an end.
