In this subject, you will discover all the wedding planning concepts that are required to plan a
successful wedding.

Learning Outcomes:
1. State why a full plan is necessary before the wedding activities begin
2. Describe how to prepare a budget to meet the client’s needs
3. Explain how to use social media to assist with the planning and promotion of a wedding
4. State the importance of getting all parties together to contribute to the overall success
of a wedding event
5. State why accounting skills are important to the overall operations of events
6. Use the tools at hand to create a harmonious and meaningful wedding day for the
client
7. Use concepts of social media to assist with planning and promotion of a wedding
8. Apply the principles of marketing to wedding events
9. Be able to effectively look at the overall picture of a wedding event in order to
successfully measure the success and outcome of the event
10. Apply strategies for effective human resource management to events
11. Create, plan, and implement effective programming for the event
12. Apply the principles of professionalism and ethics during the entire process of an event

Today’s Assignment:
For today’s assignment, you are required to write a 1000-word paper describing everything you
know about planning a wedding.

Be as descriptive as possible.
Let me know all the little things that you know will need to be planned and budgeted for.
I want to understand where people fall in regards to knowledge about planning a wedding.
Planning a wedding and attending a wedding are two very different things!
