Film Enthusiasts Society Charter

Article I: Name and Purpose

1.1 Name: The organization shall be known as the "Film Enthusiasts


Society" hereafter referred to as "the Society."

1.2 Purpose: The purpose of the Film Enthusiasts Society is to provide a


platform for individuals with a passion for cinema to come together,
appreciate diverse cinematic works, and engage in meaningful discussions.

Article II: Membership

2.1 Eligibility: Membership is open to all individuals who share an interest


in film regardless of their background, experience, or expertise.

2.2 Registration: Prospective members must register by providing their


name, contact information, and a brief statement of their interest in film.

2.3 Rights and Responsibilities: Members have the right to attend all
screenings and participate in discussions. They are also encouraged to
suggest films for consideration. Members must uphold the values of respect
and open-mindedness during discussions.

Article III: Leadership

3.1 Executive Committee: The Society shall be led by an Executive


Committee consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer,
and Program Coordinator.

3.2 Elections: Executive Committee members will be elected annually


through a democratic voting process among the registered members.

3.3 Duties:

 President: Presides over meetings, represents the Society, and ensures


the organization's overall well-being.
 Vice President: Assists the President and assumes their duties in their
absence.
 Secretary: Maintains records, handles correspondence, and keeps
minutes of meetings.
 Treasurer: Manages the organization's finances, budget, and financial
transactions.
 Program Coordinator: Plans and coordinates weekly screenings and
discussions.
