STUDENT VISA CHECKLIST

 Appointment Letter (VFS).


 Current passport. Make sure that you have at least 2 blank pages opposite to each
other in your passport, on which to stamp the visa. New and old passports must be
carried for visa filing

FUNDS: -

Living cost for UK-

Inside London Living cost: £12,006 per year


Outside London Living cost: £9,207 Per year

Note: - Student needs to show one year living/ maintenance expenses + unpaid
tuition fee for the first year for applying for their visa. Cost of living depends on
their university location.

 Funds to be shown only by means of the below mentioned sources.

(a) Savings account – One month bank statement showing the account transactions,
along with the Bank Balance Confirmation Letter OR the Original Passbook with a
recent transaction not older than 7 days, with the seal and signature of the bank.
The funds must have been held for at least 28 days before applying for your visa.

(b) Fixed Deposit - FDR Certificate and Cover Letter from the bank on their
letterhead stating the deposit is 28 days old and that it is encashable at any time.

(c) Education Loan - Sanction Letter from the bank on their letterhead with the bank
seal and signature. The letter must state that the loan disbursement will happen only
on grant or approval of the visa. If the amount is disbursed into the student’s
account, the funds will have to be held for 28 days and only then visa applied.

 No Objection Certificate (Affidavit) from the student’s parents in case they are
showing their financial accounts for available funds. The affidavit should be on
Rs. 20/- stamp paper with the Notary seal and signature

 Original Birth Certificate in order to establish the relationship. If the


document is in a regional language, an English translation must be
included.



 CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) letter from the university
 Consent letter from the parents or legal guardian if the student is below 18
years. Letter must be on stamp paper (Affidavit) and notarized.

 TB TEST from UKVI APPROVED Clinics/Hospitals.


 Original Educational documents as mentioned in CAS letter – Master’s degree
mark sheet and degree certificate, bachelor degree mark sheet and degree
certificate, mark sheet for 10th and 12th grade.

 IELTS scorecard (if mentioned in the CAS letter).

 Work Experience documents (if mentioned in the CAS letter).

 Affidavit of multiple names (Make sure your name appears the same on all
documents as it is in the passport). If not, then Affidavit of Multiple Names is
required. The same applies for the student’s parents, if they are sponsoring.

card.
